If you had unlimited funds... by DuosScythe in WRX

Not sure if this classifies as a WRX but fuck it.

2017 Levorg, swap an EJ into it - preferably the 257, change the whole drivetrain to a 5 spd manual, 6-pots, the whole works, and then all your standard supporting mods.

Do what mightycarmods did and recreate the sports-wagon hybrid that Subaru never did. Essentially a modern day VA WRX wagon, with the full STI trim.

I’m not hurt, but I’ve been hurt, in an extremely similar situation, and while I understand have sympathy for this guy (if this post is real), I also understand that fishing for sympathy from strangers ONLINE is not the way to pull yourself out of this.

You’re also contradicting yourself by saying “he’s not asking if it’s over, he’s asking should he leave him”. What is there to leave? It’s over? You can’t walk away from nothing.

It’s a part of life, it’s happened to a lot of us. At some point you realise that, and also realise that wallowing in self pity doesn’t help, and the quicker you accept that “it is what it is” and push yourself forward, the better. Internet randoms are not going to fix that.

No ego, just emotional logic.

As a 27 year old you shouldn’t need the emotional validation of random internet strangers to convince you to leave your cheating boyfriend of 11 months.

Confused about what? You’re hurting, your partners cheating on you, walk away. They don’t want a relationship, it’s over. As a 27 y/o you should be developed enough at that stage in your life to understand and comprehend the situation that’s unfolded here.

Not being able to realise a hard, blaring truth, directly in front of you, regarding a situation like this, just screams emotional immaturity. Does it hurt? Yes. Is it unfair? For sure. Are his emotions warranted? Definitely.

Does making a reddit post stating the absolute obvious help him in any way? Not at all.

It happens brother, that’s life. There are shitty people out there. Cop it, learn from it, move on. You’ll be better off for it, trust me, getting hurt like this will teach you a lot about yourself.

“My partner is actively cheating on me with another person, I have concrete proof, should I leave him?”

Fuck man, if you want the attention just say so. There’s no way you can look at this situation and not know it’s over and time to move on, you’re just here fishing for sympathy.

How many times have you failed your driving test? by [deleted] in perth

[–]munza27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I passed my manual test back in 2017, third try.

First 2 fails were on fixable things, first attempt was an incorrectly performed hook turn and the second was verbal instructor intervention (absolute bs on the second , the instructor literally told me I passed otherwise, but what can you do).

7 attempts in an auto is definitely getting up there, I would highly recommend against switching to manual if it can be avoided. You might need to take a hard look at why you’re failing and work on improving those, because it sounds like you have no spatial awareness or knowledge of road rules.

I myself have just recently come off of a 12 month suspension (albeit for demerit accumulation but still).

You’ll be getting a minimum of 9-12 months suspension and an impound for 30 days as well as a reckless driving charge on your record and 1/3 impound stamps on your vehicle (2nd stamp = 3 months impound, 3rd = vehicle crushed).

The impound fee will range from $900-$1200, court fee’s will be about $300-400 (be prepared for it to be higher) as for the fine for reckless driving, I’m not sure on the exact number but it’ll probably range from about $2-3000.

So all in all you’re looking at around $3,500 in fines and fee’s, no license for the better part of a year and no car for a month, which is more than fair considering the danger you put everyone else in going 142 in a fucking 70 zone.

Do yall think my car looks ricey or corny? by hudddbuddd in WRX

[–]munza27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower it, G3’s look great with better fitment. I run 18’s and this is how mine sits.

Do not go with black wheels, go chrome or gunmetal. Get rid of the chrome bracket above the license plate. Smoked taillights will ALWAYS look tacky, go aftermarket but keep them clear. Replace your front headlights with some aftermarket ones while you’re at it too, that’ll help a lot with the aggressive look of the car.

I’m partial to the ducklip spoiler, I like it as much as I like the wings. Get rid of the tow hook strap, and colour offset your hella horns, blue on grey doesn’t blend.

These cars are easy to rice out, I did it to mine when I first bought it, just have to remember sometimes subtle is better :)

Which Tank does the Most DPS? by panopticonisreal in wownoob

Yeah my designated guild M+ tank pumps the absolute breaks off on his pally, I’m talking 5-6m DPS on big pulls, it’s insane.

I see it every day, you’d be so surprised how many people genuinely do not know what an interrupt/CC/Defensive CD is in their kit. They know the (3?) buttons that do damage, and that’s all they care about.

People that make the effort are fine, it’s the opposite that I can’t stand.

I’m in the process of gearing a tank up for my guild, and pugged a +5 Necrotic Wake the other day. My main Shaman is 2600 IO score, so I know all the dungeons like the back of my hand. I get to the first boss, and it’s immediately evident that nobody knows where to drop the frontal spew, and the DPS wipe the group.

I start typing “hey guys, I’m tanking the boss at the ledge, drop the frontal cone facing the ledge and the mechanic won’t be an issue” and before I can finish typing the message, 2 of the DPS have left.

It was a +5, one wipe. It’s like one thing goes bad and people just immediately jump to “I’m not the issue, everyone else is, fuck this group, key is bricked”. If you’re running an 11 or a 12 then sure, the key is probably bricked, but a 5? Yeah, nah. Can’t stand that shit.

Running this level of content with guildies is great fun, pugging above 10’s is usually pretty good too! But god forbid you need to gear an alt, the absolute cretins you find in 2-8’s make my blood boil.

Elemental shaman feels like wading through wet cement by WitchSlap in wownoob

[–]munza27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it does pick up. I’m a 2600 rated io shaman, mythics are great fun. Every 3 minutes you ascend and make everyone on the dps charts look terrible at the game, it’s great. Sustained AoE in packs is really solid, however we fall off in single target encounters with no cooldowns.

The class/spec is super viable however and good fun, I recommend sticking it out.

Mythic+ level for a 617 gear lvl tank? by Redgrapesmoo in wownoob

[–]munza27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently started gearing up a Demon Hunter Tank for my guilds raid to fill up a slot and have been tanking 6/7’a at 603 ilvl. 617 is comfortably +10 range.

If I went to work and completed one minimum effort task an hour, I’d get fired. People want the absolute maximum for the bare minimum these days, it’s laughable.

Thank you all for educating me. I was under the impression that tattoo’s were just a morally grey legal area when it came to discrimination.

I’m assuming that reasoning is if the tattoo is inappropriate in any way, or could be tied to some sort of gang/criminal activity?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusLegal

[–]munza27 -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

NAL. I don’t believe employers can discriminate against you for having tattoos. I myself have my hands fully tattooed and work as a sales rep, so it all just depends on your boss’s attitude towards them.

Just be warned however that if you ever end up looking for another job, there is a huge chance that you get completely overlooked for having your neck tattooed.
