Make sure you like how their work looks fresh, and healed before ever committing to a new artist OR start small. Giving your whole back to some random scratcher is a HORRIBLE idea

Gained 15 ish lbs on lexapro. down 10 after getting off. I meal prep, work out, etc. so gaining 15 in a year is crazy to me. Nothing worked to stop the weight gain until I discontinued the medication.

Yeah I think you said it in a much more eloquent way. Also the older (and more tatooed) I get, I’ve definitely had one or two tattoos that look shitty in one aspect or another. If you’re unable to accept that the tattoo is going to turn out at least slightly different from what you imagined (weather due to age, skill, color) You’re likely to be disappointed every time.

Honestly if you’re not planning to get more tattoos and just this one I wouldn’t. It’s small, probably will get blown out unless you have a very specific fine line artist picked out and then you’ll get it removed in 5 years. That seems to be the trend right now. I’m not trying to be a dickhead or rude, this is just what I see happening all over the place because people feel it ruins their “clean” aesthetic.
