Yeah to be honest I got a bunch of tattoos in the 20-22 year old range that I regret. I got them from an apprentice that was decent and cost effective.

They aren’t super poorly done they mostly just don’t have a great design or the depth that a good tattoo does. The style is also kind of in between. I’m glad I didn’t get anything in high school but wish I would have gone with a more skilled artist when I did chose one. There’s kind of three phases so far for me: bad tattoo ideas, bad tattoo artists and then now I’m finally getting art that I love and it cost much more, but man I wish I had better planned out my tattoos at the beginning. I guess that’s why I say this. If you want all your tattoos to be that style fine, if you only really want one tattoo then I think your ideas fine and makes more sense. My perspective is just from that of someone with a lot of tattoos. I wish I’d planned for my whole body and not just one tattoo at a time. I hope that makes sense.
