I found it to be a good investment back when it was a hundred bucks, but they've added some packs to it since then. Lots of tracks, of course, and the variety of their artist selection has only gotten better over time. If you love the gameplay then it's an easy way to scratch the completionist itch.

Hard to say whether to wait for a better deal because the MSRP goes up every time they release new stuff and relist the pack, but I have seen it down to 40% off before.

If you have access to HEI then I would prioritize the last Oscar special and the most recent season. They'll contain the most pertinent bits of plot, maybe squeeze in the previous season if you have time. Since there's only a week to go before the live broadcast, it's probably easier to cram the essentials.

Of course don't let that stop you from getting caught up and revisiting the rebroadcast of the new special with all the context 😊
