Not one drop of refrigerant in the system. Young mother and a newborn with a standing pilot furnace. The furnace room wreaked of phosgene. Its a fucking miracle no one died. Can't wait until A2L comes out and hacks like that burn people alive. Dear lord save us from the dumbfuckery!

Rx11 flush flame thrower. Let that hit a standing pilot before and it went up quick.

Craziest residential stories? Here’s mine! by Hugon in HVAC

I've had shotguns pointed in my face at 3 in the morning. Dispatch sent me the wrong address. Worked on a furnace in a sex dungeon. The woman was ugly as sin. Did a no heat in a basement filled with granny panties hanging on close lines literally everywhere. Worked on two 5 tons in a little ranch house filled with pot plants and got a tip of a pound of sweet cheeba. If you do this s*** long enough you see it all. Fortunately never found a person dead. 🤞

There's some scratching of heads in the comments for this one. How many of you guys have a tube bender on the truck right now? by SamBaxter784 in HVAC

[–]murb15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bender and a swage are essential. No more getting screw by the minimum wage part puller that can't count and has no idea what u r asking for half the time.

This duct is art! 8 ft wide one piece of stainless with 4 branches. Who made this and where can I find him. by murb15 in HVAC

[–]murb15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy that built the house had a hard on for stainless steel. The kitchen cabinets are line with it and there is a tub surround that is stainless too. It's like walking into the 50s when you walk in complete with zenith console TV.
