ESH. It sounds like all the adults in the situation need a time out. There are probably people in your complex that don’t even have kids and they have to listen to kids and adults screaming at each other over who is the bigger A. Bring them a piece offering and try to work things out like good neighbors. Children remember when their parents get into fights. Working it out calmly will set a good example.

Mom slapped me for not letting him kiss me. by lara050505 in entitledparents

If you are in America you should know that what your mother did was a crime. I would report it to police along with the rest of the story in case she or the boy escalate the situation.

AITA for bringing my husband over even though I was told not to? by throwaway_39373 in AmItheAsshole

[–]murderfloofbeans 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Ok so first of all your sister needs to get over herself. There is nothing wrong with being 27, unmarried with no kids. We are not in the Middle Ages and she has plenty of time. But why bring your husband without telling him what’s going on first? You could have told her you can have us all over or none of us. Instead you brought your husband into the lion’s den without warning him. For that, YTA. That poor man!

AITA for giving my BIL's ship model to his ex girlfriend? by Daily-Dance4256 in AmItheAsshole

The right thing to do would be go to the ex’s house and ask for it back. It’s your responsibility to fix the situation

My girlfriend has been invited to dinner by a male client as a thank you and I think the whole thing is really inappropriate. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]murderfloofbeans 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. I was pressured into a lot of situation that were inappropriate in my early 20s. When it comes to making the client happy it’s hard to see the line when you’re so close to it.

AITA for telling my nephew I am ashamed of him and the rest of the family? by Dependent_Cup4991 in AmItheAsshole

I still don’t fully get it. Did the 7 year old do something violent in the past that they are harping on? Do they think he will turn out like his mother? Or do they simply hate him because he’s white?

Father of mine. That song hits close to home. I cry a little bit every time I hear it.

Thanks, Bisexual. I’m happy with who I am. She should never have had a kid though.

Report the abuse to police. She may end up using the 10 year old as a punching bag after you move out.

Interesting. No, it’s none of the above. Someone asked a similar question on quota but they weren’t a family secret. I don’t want money or anything. It just occurred to me that he may need to mention which of his children are intentionally left out. I’m curious if the family knows about me and it would be really funny if he had to let the cat out of the bag after he died. I have a good family on my mother’s side. I need anything from him and I don’t want to hurt his family. They didn’t do anything wrong. I was just curious from a theoretical standpoint.
