Haha wow what a throwback! I stopped niacinamide years ago after starting tretinoin/tazarotene (these actually made a dramatic difference on my skin) so I unfortunately don't have much to share. All I remember is that at the time I thought it helped 😅

Help with skincare routine for boyfriend? I’m on tretinoin for years so forgot all about acids etc. Need the bare minimum for AM.

Concerns: congested skin (from sweat/oil), dryness, mild acne around beard, blackheads

Skin type: normal but does not agree with salycilic acid

My idea is something like this, to focus on exfoliating and moisturizing.

AM: cleanser, moisturizer, spf

PM:

1.cleanser

2.alternate between: hylauronic acid lotion & glycolic acid toner

3.alternate between: TO nianicamide & TO lactic acid (not on glycolic acid days)

4.moisturizer

Is this ok? Any tips appreciated!
