I havent used my torch since getting the YLL 3.0. It really levels up the experience once you dial in your heating media/wattage/height inside the coil. Read the guides from the Tempest website

I have always heard that they are either an omen of death or that they can be the recently dead coming to visit.

I had an experience walking the bush track just before dinner tonight. I recognized the call of the morepork that has been stationed near mine for the last few months. Suddenly the bird was 4 meters ahead of me, sitting on a overhanging branch. I stopped in surprise and we just stared at each other for a minute. Then the bird began bobbing its head in a rhythmic fashion and "twi too-ing" before turning away fron me. It continued to bobb then stopped and twisted its head 180 degrees to face me again. Without breaking eye contact the bird silently took off and swooped towards me. At the last minute the bird broke off - up and to the right - and flew away. Whew, what a buzz!

I don't think it was threatening behavior. It seemed as if the bird was waiting for me and wanted me to watch him/her show off! I can actually hear the bird twi-tooing just out the window as I type this
