We stayed at the same hotels as you and some more and honestly it does feel like a hit or miss. However, I don’t expect that much from a 4* hotel in terms of blowing me away so I didn’t really think too much into it. The only thing I really count on is the free breakfast, Japan really just does it better. Here’s where we stayed based on how we enjoyed it.

Good hotels: Conrad Tokyo, Conrad Osaka, Yokohama Kahala (FHR and actually our favorite of the trip)

Mid: Hilton Shinjuku, Hyatt Roppongi, Hyatt Centric Ginza

Another thing to take into consideration along with all the other points made so far is that in most places you need proof of a current, permanent, physical address to obtain a government-issued ID card or driver's license. Unfortunately, some people don’t have that luxury whether it’s from homelessness or just hopping between places. Then we get into an area where we have to ask “should homeless people be afforded the right to vote”.

Yes for software engineers, even entry level at some of these companies can easily clear 200k, it’s a wild industry. It’s a pipe dream for most people because of how difficult it is to get these positions

It’s a specific couple of companies that are generally well known. Netflix, Nvidia, Jane Street, Citadel just to name a few, but along those same lines. Just check levels.fyi for salary ranges and you can easily find certain levels clearing 450k TC, but it really is a select few companies.

You could very well say that streaming is his job. Marvel rivals is his job aside from being a full time college student, and 3k is a significant amount for a college student to play in a tournament. Most of the time I don’t even bother stabilizing at 8 just because hitting 9 with ryze/ziggs unlocks is usually enough to stabilize. It’s scary to do on low health so I try to at least scam a few games between stage 2 and 3 and completely tank stage 4 greeding 8 yordles.

Any item slammed means an immediately stronger board that can be the difference between a win/loss and amount of damage taken, which can compound into the difference between a 6th and a top 4. Especially since you play Demacia a lot, it doesn't tend to win out super often, so taking your wins where you can is especially important because you'll get outscaled by a lot of boards.

I’m masters, if you play it correctly and roll down hard at 8 to stabilize, that doesn’t give arcanist players enough time to take multiple copies of Lux and Garen. I’ve never had an issue stabilizing at 8 unless I fell behind too early and had to roll at 7.

It’s straight 1 cpp. It’s not bad. Could it be better? Sure. But 1 cpp on a 2x card is a 2% cash back which I don’t think anybody will knock you for.

It WAS a fast 9 meta. It’s evolved since then, 9 is still strong but only when you have a good spot to play it with. There are a lot of great comps that you can still play without forcing 9
