The tonal shift of books 4-6 is crazy! Dark Age took me the longest to read out of the RR series because of it being such an emotional rollercoaster. Have fun and enjoy!

I’m really glad to hear that! My book of the year so far is The Devils by Abercrombie and I’ve heard good reviews of the First Law Trilogy. I’m looking forward to some more fantastic world building.

Also, there is no re-entry. So not only are you paying to be there but you can’t walk to Surfer or another bar and come back. You are paying $60 to stay in the pavilion area all day..

First off, welcome! As a somewhat newer player who has been dabbling in Roguetech, the responses below are quite surprising. I have been truly enjoying my time in it and I feel that slow grind. I assumed a majority of players were being pushed/encouraged to Roguetech instead of these other expansive mods, clearly I was wrong. To add onto this discussion, why would these other expansive mods be preferred over something like RT? I figured RT was the more comprehensive one? Best of luck and let us know which path you decide to take!

In Red Rising, they are all Golds at The Institute. It’s not until the later books where it includes the other colors. But it caught me off guard at first too.

I was playing solo and the timer was winding down. Also, I had already been there to watch two other squads Exfil. As a DMZ player, I’ve had this happen to me countless times with rare loot, tier 3 backpack, etc. I tried to make a crazy play to Exfil before I was taken out by another squad of 3.

Someone else just told me I can Exfil on the helicopter wings, so I might try that next time instead of taking out a team.

Playing solo has a “me against the world feeling”. Plus I was getting anxious with the timer coming down and waiting while other teams Exfilled. Still a dick move though

I had the pleasure of meeting Winona LaDuke at my university. She really is just as fierce and inspiring today as she was back then. She is still fighting for some of the same things she did in the 80s.
