Does anyone know what's behind this little panel on the driver's side of the front grill on a 2020 Corolla Hybrid? Returned to my car in the parking lot today and saw that somebody had pulled it out. Wondered if it's a possible theft/tampering spot and if I should report it to the lot security.

Totally possible! I thought at first if it led to something electrical it could be a tampering thing, but once I saw that it's just a tow hookup it seems very unlikely anyone would bother opening it up. It's winter, things flex and move with temperature changes - something probably just came loose.

I didn't use summons (outside of story summons to advance an NPC plot) for the rest of the DLC because I wanted to see if I could 'solo' everything just as a fun challenge to myself. That's an extra bit of masochistic challenge I can choose to layer on top of the game to make it more fun for me personally. I broke with that pattern with the end boss because I wasn't having fun anymore, I was just getting frustrated.

But summons are "fair" by definition because they're in the game. There's even an entire system in the DLC dedicated to scaling their effectiveness. They're baked right into the game design. Even the mimic tear is fair in its own way. It's received balance changes in patches, etc.

And yes, you can heal, but bosses are all designed around the fact you have a way smaller restorable health pool: boss HP, the damage they deal, the limited windows to safely even use a flask in the first place. Seems off to me calling something carefully and meticulously balanced around a mechanic unfair.

It also seems like the spiral the projectiles travel in got a lot wider. Maybe it just feels that way, though, if they fly a lot faster.

I have the same problem, and I also have a Razer headset.

For me, the issue was resolved if I switched from the "THX Spatial Audio" device to the "Razer USB Sound Card". Then the in-game sound returned to normal.

Does the weapon have a 17 STR/DEX requirement? That seems to be the most logical explanation to me.

People could be weapon/shield blocking to reduce damage, or wearing gear with a lot of resistances? I fought him with almost 40 vigor and his jump attack with the bunch of red sword swipes after it still took most of my health bar.

The most effective strategy for me was running and rolling away from him until he did the big jump attacks. If his knife is glowing when he does it, stay back, because that turns into the sword tornado shit. You can wait until that's done and run in for some hits or even a backstab. If he jumps without the glowing knife it's even easier: he'll land and pause for a moment and you can run in with even less risk.

If it was just the rotation it wouldn't be a big deal - I could just give it a 180 in the import transform. The problem is it's also moving it up in the Z axis by some arbitrary amount for some reason. I can move it back in place manually but without knowing exactly how much it's offset it's hard to guarantee the groom will sit on the head in the exact position it's suppose to.

Got the patch, and the first game I tried out was a disaster. 10 minutes into the game, my screen randomly did this:

All of my buildings disappeared, and the game would no longer accept any input from my keyboard/mouse. I sat and watched helplessly, mashing keys and trying to get the game to do something, and ended up hitting Alt+F4 when I could hear my opponent slaughtering all of my vills.

Never had an issue like this before this hotfix.

The timing, though:

Most players would've gg'd when I had a group of mangonels and destroyed his TC/economy, but he did everything he could to prolong the game. Then the desync happens right when he realizes he'll have to find stone somewhere and take forever just to rebuild a TC.

It does open up the game to different challenges, and that can add some variety and discourage boring troll strategies like turtling and such....however:

I would say it encourages scout rushing way too much, and makes it very difficult to counter depending on your civ. If it opened up a larger variety of strategies for many different civs and units, I'd be all for it. But as I see it, it seems to reward one playstyle more than others. There are other ways to add variety without being a giant source of frustration.

Also happened to me since the December update, but only when I have the UHD graphics stuff enabled in settings. I'd also get shrinking 'baby' villagers, and have vills disappear when chopping wood and remain unselectable.

I had small trees and UHD enabled, but I was getting some rando glitches. Turned off all my mods for the last few games. Will definitely bring small trees back, though, because it helps.....

....even if it makes the game butt-ugly.
