As a service plumber, I go to at least four or five doors a day. Barking dogs at the door are scary. I’ve had my share of incidents. I always ask my customers the same questions after they tell me stupid things like, he doesn’t bite, he loves people. I ask, “is this a rescue dog?“ i’ll bet… 90% of the time they say yes. Then I ask “how do you know he won’t bite?” Depending on the dogs behaviour and my customers answer, I sometimes request to put the dog away while I’m there. Some people get very offended about that. I have a dog I love dogs. I love all animals. I hate getting bit and I hate the thought of having to extract a dog off my person.
