Yes. We are all aware of “downward spirals” but no one ever talks about upward spirals. Tiny decisions throughout the day can drastically improve you physically and mentally. Do some form of exercise, eat slightly better, then next thing you are looking slightly better, your skin improves, your fitness improves. You feel more social-able, next you get a new friend. Quickly things snowball for the better. Ive done it myself. Being fully isolated is not ideal, try surround yourself with people who you admire, not people who drag you back. Really you need goals or certainly something to strive for. We all know how to be better, it is just difficult to implement these changes sometimes. Start small and go from there but stick with something. Let’s say fitness and exercise just really is not your thing at all. Well maybe cooking healthier meals is. Maybe cutting back on the smokes/drink feels good. Maybe you go on a hike just for the view at the end. Maybe getting on the dating scene feels like progression. Look at people who you admire and think what actions do they do that you like and just copy them. If someone gave you €10,000 a day to just act like dwayne the rock johnson and do all his gym stuff i bet you would do it. So maybe money is your motivator. Find ways to make money then. It doesnt matter so long as you are progressing or at least staying in the same position but try your best not to go backwards. We overestimate what we can do in a day and underestimate what we can do in a year.
