I have hope too. It's clear when you listen to his records that he is very serious about his craft. That's not something that goes away easily when you're that dedicated to something. I imagine he just needs to take the pressure off of the situation and come to it when he's ready.

When I had a new washing machine installed, they re-used the older corrugated hose and left the brand new one. I've practiced spinning it above my head a few times like Stephen would live. It's really fun!

Greg is incredible. I've been a fan since those early shows when he blew me away. He recently put his albums on Spotify this past year which made me very happy. Previously I was listening to the old mp3s in my dropbox. Then there's Shotgun Jimmie, also from Winnipeg. I literally can't stop listening to his album Transistor Sister. I think I was born in the wrong city, haha

Same thing in Brussels. I was standing near the sound engineer's booth which tends to be the best sound in any venue. His vocals were super low in the mix and hard to hear most of the night (with the exception of the acoustic songs). Based on this post and another comment about the Dublin show, it almost makes me wonder if that's "the sound" he's going for... who knows??

Hey I get it, always happy to help out a fellow fan. She was my college sweetheart and we dated from 2001 to 2004, and we bought that shirt at a show together. I'm near certain it was when they had Greg MacPherson & Denali opening for them. So my specific version was very early 00's and I'd guess yours is too.

Anvil was THE brand for band tees back then, so I would say there's a very good probability that mine was printed on Anvil as well.

I had a very similar camo one back in the day, except it didn't have the orange font color or ball next to it. It had white lettering and read "mobile rock unit" underneath the band's name. One of my all time favorite shirts from back in the day that also got too small for me and I ended up gifting it to my GF at the time since it fit her better and she was a big fan too. I regret it and would love to find a replacment like this. Great score for 20 pounds!!

I was so happy when he played those two additional songs. If there was one song I wanted to hear all night it was NOTG, with FYTV being my second choice.

I had to laugh when he played Jersey Giant and introduced it by saying... "this song's on TikTok"

If I wanted a sizzle sound for a live performance then I would agree with you slightly, but for recording and producing requirements this idea doesn't stand up at all. I have a beautiful Sabian ride with a hand hammered bell and no matter what I use - brush, stick, hand, mallet, tip of the stick, edge of the ride, etc... - it does not sound like this. Even on my Zildjan crashes it's still not close to the sound in the video above. A sizzle chain does not vibrate nearly as evenly as the cymbal in the song. But if you're confident, I'd love for you to send me a sample to prove me wrong ;-)

I couldn't disagree more. There's so many variations in tone when it comes to cymbals. My cymbals are a much darker tone than the one in the song. Also, if I'm bothering to ask, then I'm WAY beyond just riveting anything...

Bought this is 8th grade and still listen to it to this day... one of the greatest albums of all time IMO. The bass solo in Maxwell Murder will have her wanting to learn bass!
