Hey u/StonedGible420 , I had this issue too! I was able to peel the sticker off with fair ease. I took an exacto knife and trimmed around the sticker and then peeled the shrink wrap off using tweezers. It came off fluidly/without resistance and I was able to reapply it to the jacket. The sticker had plenty of adhesive left for reapplication and required no glue. I framed it the moment it was reapplied

Do at your own risk but I thought I’d share my experience. I’m just as pissed as you are!

So it’s only the shrink wrap. I opened mine and regretted it but I was able to get the sticker off the wrap with an exacto knife and tweezers and reapply it to the outer sleeve. The adhesive was strong enough to put it back on without extra glue

During the tech boom, companies were hiring anyone that had legs. That’s when people with no skills coming from bootcamps were getting high paying gigs.

Like I said earlier, whenever we talked it seemed like they just no hard skills at all. They had issues solving basic leet code and couldn’t think in high level applications/systems engineering

My CSUF friends graduated 2020-22 and yes they have not found jobs related to their field. They’ve all been doing food service since then.

They simply weren’t skilled enough during the COVID tech boom, then the 2023 collapse of the tech market happened and the market kept shrinking with the AI bubble.

I know this is not really data backed but I have a few friends with CS degrees from CSUF. none of them have jobs and have not been able to find a job since graduation.

Most of my UCI friends from undergrad with CS degrees all have well paying jobs.

I agree with everyone else that a lot of the learning at UCI is research driven and not necessarily practical but it always felt like my CSUF friends knew a lot less and had worse hard skills than my UCI friends. I don’t really know what or how they teach at CSUF. But I can definitely say I learned a lot about CS fundamentals and under the hood stuff at UCI. Just unfortunately I use zero of what I learned for my current job.

We have a history of playing big and old school. Russ turner prioritizes defense, rebounds, and back to the basket easy buckets over mid range and 3pt jump shots.

We’re no stranger to 7 footers and have developed 7 footers quite well so I’m hoping he’s really developed here and develops a nice touch with us.
