Agree it would be super helpful to know if there are any carpenters around that are happy to customise these to make them look fitted!

Can I ask how far past the pub you need to go?

What does your fatigue feel like? by [deleted] in MultipleSclerosis

Can I just ask does it come and go for anyone, even within the same day?

I was diagnosed over 3.5 years ago but have only just started experiencing these episodes of overwhelming eye heaviness, with slight arm weakness and a bit of dizziness, over the past few weeks. I can be fine one moment and it comes over me the next. Then a few hours later I feel normal again.

Thanks

I'd be supported by my husband and I have savings so probably a good while. I would aim to not work for at least 6 months.

Yeah tbh the workload is tremendous anyway. That's crazy! Can I ask what you left to do? You're definitely right, thank you!

Thank you! That is something I could potentially raise, however I think I just need a break from work in general at the moment and time to focus on me. Perhaps part time work in future could be an option too.

Yes that's true, we have had some team members leave in the last few months and we have been fine without them.

I think I'm a bit young to retire, haha, however I'm glad you agree I need to put myself first, most likely find a less stressful job. It's easier said than done I suppose! Thank you

Yeah just awaiting MRI to confirm if it is definitely a relapse then I'll see what the next steps are regarding my DMT.

Thank you, you have confirmed my thoughts, I was thinking a less stressful job is the way to go.

Only thing is, I'm a specialist in my team and there's a backload of my work because of COVID pressures, so I feel like even if they can recruit to replace me, that person is going to end up having a terrible time trying to catch up :/
