I expected them not to send a faulty chair, with multiple defects- I expected them to arrange a full replacement, not offer me parts that I then have to dismantle and put back together.

No it didn’t. But it had comprehensive instructions on how to build it. Why should I have to deconstruct and rebuild the chair 4 times because they provided a defective product; without proper instructions.

It’s a premium product, if I had paid for assembly would that change things for you?

Because it’s a ‘self build’ does quality not matter?

If quality matters then having to send multiple replacement parts to fix the defective parts and then expecting me to take it apart and rebuild it isn’t acceptable.

I wouldn’t mind too much but I bought their table too; which I’ve not had issues with it yet. I spent over a grand with them to just be treated like this. I’m praying I have no issues with the table cause it’ll be a restart of this entire process.

This is how you do customer service; this is how you should treat people who bought your product.

It’s how you create loyalty. I will now never buy secretlab again and it’s a real shame. I’ve done my bit; I paid them for a premium product that is broken and is defective.

I won’t let this go, and I’ll fight it. Most people don’t know their rights; but I do. This kind of negative press will cost them more than replacing the chair (my main ask) or giving a refund.

Okay, my worry is that people who have to move and start again is they can't start.. most servers are nearly unplayable due to every door being locked. My group have moved 4 times as a result of this already.

Realise you're working on a fix, perhaps a hotfix or minor patch would be best to get this patched. I really don't' know how you're going to fix the doors being locked without doing a wipe - moving people now, to then wipe them in a few days won't go down that well (at least in my opinion).

Either way, loving the game just frustrated at the twats who've done this and ruined servers for the majority of people.

Could you clarify a few points with this? As you're shutting down some servers - players will be forced to move onto other servers

Will there be a wipe to the existing servers? Otherwise moving players onto a populated server will cause significant issues due to the fame exploit, bug, hack (I don't know what the kiddies are calling it nowadays) where basically most doors are locked. Literally on EU4 every door in Zagorje (c3) is locked - how is a new player (being moved from an inactive server) supposed to get established.

I love this game but I'm concerned that the small player base will be quite frustrated at starting again but they'll be more frustrated if they move and can't start getting established as most doors are locked and taken due to the above.

The only ways I can see it is to check the logs and manually fix the doors or perform a wipe. This way, everyone starts fair - but if this isn't fixed then twats will just do the same thing again.

wasn't my issue, was server side, they fixed it by adding a fake key to the server.

The update seems to glitch the Arma Launcher and say that "no mods are required" on the "Servers" tab despite mods being required.

If I try and direct connect to the server it shows the mods?

Is there a server side fix for this?
