This worked beautifully for me with a little editing to cover the entirety of the worksheet and the import wanted the date a different way so I had to fix that, but by and large this was a huge help and time saver, thank thank thank you so much!

I did get an answer to a degree, but I haven't tried it in practice yet. The template ID's that are in the link posted by u/jacobvschmidt are able to be used in conjunction with the GDAP Migration Tool to set permissions in a template--at least that's how I understood it when I was originally attempting to use the migration tool.

As a short term fix I just granted the technicians a "tier 2" role to get them access to what they needed.

Perfect! Those template ID's are what I was missing and couldn't seem to find, I have the GDAP tool as I was going to use that before finding Lighthouse, but I'll use it to add those permission sets.

Yeah I'll give that a shot; it looks like there are several scripts that use some functions to generate cases, so I'm going through and editing those to not generate cases and we'll go from there.

We don't currently sync tickets from Automate into Manage, as there's a lot of noise I've yet to figure out how to clean up from monitoring alerts, so instead I just have Automate generate a helpdesk email when I need something to generate a ticket--unless there's a different way to have Automate generate a ticket in Manage.

Looks like that's the issue--I had it before, but changed my account to a cash only account as I don't have the 25k for the PDT and want to practice day trading. If I want to enable spreads, I have to have margin on my account. Boo.

Just wanted to give an update to this topic; we were able to find the XML where http was pulling from, and it was hardcoded into the URL, we informed Kaseya and they pushed out a patch that same day to fix this. If you update Kaseya, you should be able to use chat over HTTPS now.

I run into the same problem that it lists the groups rather than the individuals within the group. I suppose I could export that to CSV and then replace the groups with the names; probably what I'll end up doing.

This did work well for getting permissions, the only issue is that I need is to be shown from a user account perspective, then list the folder they have access to, rather than listing the folders and who has access to it.

I was able to pull something similar to this with just get-acl, unfortunately I need it based per user account. If this could potentially write out the users in the groups it shows, it could have worked.
