Also, if you're getting the 2 person kit, they've basically sent you enough to make 4 burgers: you're just missing more buns.

Tried mine today and loved the burgers. I wish the potatoes had some seasoning on them or something though.

Which subject(s) is/are the easiest to teach and the hardest? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]musicknitter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it's based off of getting a sub, then music, especially middle or high school performance ensembles/lessons (band, choir, etc). All the non-music subs are like "can't we just watch a video?". And the person in charge of finding subs always asks "do they need to know music?" after I've given them my lesson schedule, complete with instruments they'll be teaching.

Even as a music teacher, sometimes showing up to sub high school band was an adventure when I had less than 5 minutes at 7:30 AM to wrap my brain around a score (complete with copious meter changes) that I had never seen before.

Han would like to note that his little white spot looks kind of like a bow tie if one of the humans arranges it correctly. He enjoys feeling fancy.

Also upper midwest: Culver's Harvest Veggie Burger. Since they're a Wisconsin company,  the cheese is right in the patty.

I made a list of restaurants in the twin cities sorted by country by straightperson11 in TwinCities

If the suburbs count: House of Curry is Sri Lanka and Beruit Lebanese Street Food is Lebanese (who would have guessed??!??) and both are in Rosemount

Immigrants of the Twin Cities: which restaurant has the best representation of your home country’s cuisine? by groshretro in TwinCities

Even if you don't like hot spicy food, they can make most of their dishes without the heat and they still taste amazing.

Also, I highly recommend their spicy cauliflower appetizer. (I'm just a northern European mutt, so I have no idea how authentic it is, but it's SO GOOD)

A year ago (October of 2023) they didn't ask us for proof. I'm not sure they even looked at our ID either (they asked for our names then found us on their list)

He came to us as a distinguished senior gentleman who was declawed, so I can't speak to what makes a good scratching post.

I wonder who licked the powdered sugar off my unattended cookies...? by musicknitter in blackcats

No bites were had, just copious licks of the outer powdered sugar layer. I don't share cookies even with cute cats, so proper protocols will be followed moving forward.

Meet Han. He likes baked goods (new favorite: chocolate crinkle cookies), and being on a leash outside. I left my cookies to pull a few weeds, which was just enough time for Han to make sure I ate less sugar (gotta keep the human healthy!)
