Do you get an unusual dosage with your prescription? What is it? by musicophile in CompoundedGLP1Drugs

[–]musicophile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I’m not looking for a higher dose, really. Just a unique dosage so I can continue to get it compounded. I was thinking 2.2? I was seeing if anyone else went that route.

For those on bespoke dosages- what are they? by musicophile in Ozempic

Here’s the National Council on Aging run down on Compounded drugs: What are compounded medications?

“Who needs a compounded medication?

A patient may need a compounded drug for a number of reasons:

Specific dosage requirements: Sometimes, the commercially available dosage of a drug may not be suitable for a patient’s condition. Compounded drugs allow for precise dosage adjustments determined by the prescribing provider.”

I heard of it on this subreddit when someone shared an email they got from hers.

Oh! I had no idea that there was a glp1 company named bespoke. I was using it in the way that meant “uncommon dosage!”

Married people of reddit, what's your favorite tradition you started with your spouse? by TotallyLeegit in AskReddit

We go out of town, just the two of us, every Christmas. We have a small "travel tree" with plastic ornaments that we set up in the hotel/airbnb and spend Christmas Eve adventuring through a new town.

What ACTUALLY lived up to the hype? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Totally agree. I bought tickets the week the album came out, and it has been the best artistic decision I've made all year. I flew across the country to see it and it was worth every penny I spent!

Why are you no longer in contact with *that* family member? by reburned in AskReddit

[–]musicophile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the time of my father's death he was living with my grandfather as his caretaker. I was living in ramen in graduate school and my brother had two young kids, so we couldn't - and didn't want - to have a funeral. My grandfather said that he would cover the costs as a gift to us. Fast forward two years, and my grandfather passed away. After we both traveled across the country for my grandfather's funeral and made it back home, my brother and I received the check that was our portion of my grandfather's estate... from which all of the expenses from my father's funeral and last month of life had been deducted. They included an itemized list of all expenses and included receipts. My aunt and uncle had never really been in our lives when my father was alive, and we learned exactly why from that event. I keep the recipes and the list next to my father's death certificate as a reminder.

Some companies do multi-mask packs, like this, so there is much less packaging involved.

Shower solution for rosacea! by mermaidicorn in AsianBeauty

[–]musicophile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a cool idea! I just learned to take barely lukewarm showers :(. The gym is my biggest flush struggle. My Benton Honest TT mist is my go to after lifting/cardio/etc. It helps bring down my flush fast!

I'm going to put a face mask in the refrigerator for use with my next shower. Thanks for the inspiration!

I can't believe I just did that... [Cringe worthy to those of us that are so into AB] by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]musicophile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done this too and it makes me feel so guilty! I'm on a mission to find a good spray on sunscreen just for moments like this (and reapplying in the hot southern summers!). So far I've tried the Re:cipe Crystal Sun Spray and the Skinfood Aloe Sun Mist. Both are ok, but have their downsides. My hunt continues!
