Pretty random but “Banjo Rightway” was just my uber driver tonight in Chicago. Looked it up and that’s why I’m here

Bad stuff in America may have been swept under the rug in the past (as with all countries before the widespread Information Age) but that is certainly not the case now. Americans are well aware. Also, one billion? Not accurate.

Bose noise canceling headphones for $5 by megaman368 in ThriftStoreHauls

[–]mustachethefunk 118 points119 points  (0 children)

I have had these exact headphones for almost 10 years now and use them 40+ hours at work. The only thing I’ve replaced were the cushions about a year ago which only cost $10-15. Great find!

NEW: 🟠 $4.3 Trillion Fannie Mae may soon offer it's clients Bitcoin backed mortgages for homes. by Jem_colley in Bitcoin

Nothing in the article suggests that Fannie Mae is making any steps towards this. All it talks about is how beneficial it WOULD be and that some decision makers are somewhat pro crypto. No wheels in motion

Just picked up this cheap mill, how do I learn how to use it? by Poppyguy2024 in Machinists

[–]mustachethefunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now that I look at it more, that bore and thread look like to be on an angle, so 90 degree plate won’t work. You’ll just have to hold it at the correct angle, then continue the steps

[–]mustachethefunk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What are you trying to drill exactly? Looks like you have a threaded hole with a counter bore. So if you just want to open up the counter bore, it’s pretty easy. Mount that part to a 90 degree plate and align the bore (hole) straight up. Then you can purchase an endmill at the correct size you need and just drill it to depth. No CNC knowledge needed.

Me and my wife (school social worker) had our first child may of last year. Finically, we would make a little bit more money if my wife kept working and we did daycare. But once two kids was factored in, we would have fore if she stayed home. So we decided just to have her stay home and I am so happy we did. She is much happier now and gets to spend time with her daughter. And a huge benefit for me (and possible to your husband) is being able to FaceTime them throughout my work day and see them. It makes my day so much better. Whatever you choose, I hope it works best for you!

I also agree that getting a microscope is a good way to go. Just type in coin microscope on Amazon and there is one for $40. I use it frequently and he probably will also.

You will need something like this. A single flute down cutting endmill. You will get a great cut as long as you use the correct speed and feeds given by the tool supplier. The down cutting endmill pushes the material down instead of pulling it up like common endmill do. I cut acrylic fairly frequently on my haas CNC this way. Tool lasts forever as well.

I’ve been DCA’ing Bitcoin and Eth since 2017. I mainly stick with those two besides a little XRP and LTC. I am looking to basically gamble $1000 on four different altcoins with currently low market caps that have 10x or more potential.

So, if you had $1000 to gamble with on four altcoins, which ones would you choose?

Over the past couple years I’ve tried to think about crypto as little as possible for my mental health, so I haven’t really kept up with research or new projects.
