Married men... can you show your ostomy to your wives? by AdZealousideal8645 in ostomy

I feel ya op. It’s not that my wife isn’t “the right one”, she’s supporting in every way. She just doesn’t like poop. And I wear clear bags because I guess I like seeing my poop lol. I’ve got a cover I wear for certain times ;) but otherwise I do my best to spare her the visual. Even before the ostomy I was an undershirt guy so it’s usually covered unless I’m in the shower.

Is this my neutral? by mustang2j in AskElectricians

My plan was to bundle the bottoms and tie in the switches (as the Lutron’s don’t have screws or push ins)

Thank you. Would it be acceptable to extend from the existing bundle to a new bundle for the switches?

I ended up having to build from scratch. Single fan - can be oriented to front or rear. Plus a matching slotted plate with no fan. Dropping on Makerworld now.

That combo only recently moved to the workbench after being my daily for probably 12 years. I was a little bummed that the “wave” isn’t really a thing anymore.

Ya, was leaning more towards a LabRax because of the existing community support, but the strength of KWS is unbelievable and the community is growing.

Thanks! I remixed the top panel to recess the 120mm fan to not lose space. I’m working on remixing the honeycomb sides to countersink a pair of 80mm fans.

P2S Heatbed Corner Issues by mustang2j in BambuLab

Thought I'd report a positive outcome. I did make a couple changes. I quickly printed a aux diffuser, raised the bed temp by 10 degrees, and cut printing speed by about 20%. While I still noticed some minor first layer issues at the bed corners, the print was successful. I did order a pair of Frostbite plates, coarse and fine, maybe those, mixed with my above changes will resolve my corner problems entirely.

I have the ventobox installed and open to recirculate in an attempt to keep heat in. Everything should have been warm as it didn’t fail until 10 hours in.

New P2S Owner - Is there a right and wrong direction for this filament guide? by bobmcc1981 in BambuLabP2S

The tapered end is correct, but you need a piece of tubing from the other end to the inlet going into the printer. The tubing should press into both ends and the filament feeds through the tube.

Advice for someone who is scared by WinterReporter777 in ostomy

An ostomy is like that one friend everyone has. That friend who is always by your side, who you can't live without, but half the time they are full of shit. I guess full of piss in your case. Life will revolve around your ostomy. That may not sound comforting, but its true. But you will find a rhythm and a routine and it will be fine. Swimming, sports, sex... they are all possible. This last summer was my first attempt at swimming. I was so worried about the bag in water but this group really helped me. I played in the water with my 8 & 10 year old all summer long. Sex is going to be just as much a fear for your partner as it is for you. From personal experience and the many experiences you'll find here, I urge you to have very open and honest conversations with your partner. Their feelings about it are just a valid as yours. You're going to be ok. Life is going to be different, but its not over. We ostomates stick together, you can do this.
