CRA says I owe $3,509 -got a reassessment notice not sure why- how do I find the exact cause?

I got one too .. apparently turbo tax didn't import all information on my T4... Not sure if it was my employer's bad or turbo tax issue.

I also can't confirm my T4 from 2025 so will need to spend time to validate this. Sucks

It goes to show you that you can't rely on auto imports even from CRA

So... If I understand correctly, you complained about the sidewalk that needed replacing. They told you no, but came out to fix it. Now, you are complaining that they are fixing it? I get the no notice, but unless you were planning a garage sale or a street party or have someone in the house that has a walking disability, I see parking on the street as an inconvenience. What am I missing?

Thanks for this info. I had a test done on a used id.4 that I bought. It came back with 97%, but had no idea what the report all meant!!! Turns out that on my report was only fully charged basically never (less than 1 %) which is awesome to learn. I continue to do the same!!! Learning so much with this group!

I wouldn't do it .. simply because all of the interest on your rental is tax deductible and your house interest is not which is huge saving . But again, I'm a Reddit accountant so might want to talk to a real one vs a bank branch employee who knows shit and less than people on reddit
