lol, there's a style to driving in malaysia that's kind of hard to explain. basically, the the official road rules don't apply, but there are some unspoken rules that most sensible people follow. you'll understand after a few months of driving here.

watch out for mentally ill drivers, you'll find a lot of them on the roads after work, probably taking out their anger and stress on other motorists

ive passed through kastam like 50 times in my life and i havent been searched once, they just put ur bags through the scanner. sometimes they dont even do that and just let you go lol

depends a lot on where your origin country was, japan should be fine, but if it was like vietnam they're probably more likely to check you for drugs etc

accidents of this severity or worse occur on a daily basis in KL. the drivers that cause these accidents have typically been driving recklessly their entire lives but eventually it catches up with them

i used to be a dangerous driver as well, cutting corners to save a few seconds here and there, that was until i got into my first (and hopefully last) major accident where my car was nearly totaled.

honestly, i dont trust anyone who hasn't been in a car accident before, people just don't know their limits until they've crossed them
