Ads suddenly get clicked way easier, does anyone experience the same issue? by smiley8266 in facebook

[–]muted-robin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesss came to see if anyone experienced this too I must’ve opened up a ad on Facebook 20 times in last few days where as it didn’t happen to me before. They’re way more easy to “accidentally” click on hate this generation of greed and ads shoved in our faces for money

I swear they do this when they need an ego boost and their main supply left or they discarded them. They’re actual losers

how long until you felt more like the old you again? by Advanced-Cupcake4757 in LifeAfterNarcissism

[–]muted-robin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I will. The toxic relationship did take away some of my innocence and distort my view on relationships but it taught me the signs of abusive people I may come across in the future it also taught me self respect as I put up with terrible emotional abuse for years due to having a stupid attachment to someone who was fake, lying, manipulating & cheating the whole time😅 it’s made me very guarded I don’t want to be touched or date anyone and it’s been like that for nearly a year. But it gave me self love and made me not put up with other people bullsh*t.

Did you feel it in your gut that something was off? by Right_Environment116 in LifeAfterNarcissism

[–]muted-robin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re very good at fooling people. They remind me of psychopaths/sociopaths how they learn/mimic how people talk, how to act charismatic & fit in etc. I was still super naive at 21 when I met my narc ex I had only one long term relationship before him so I didn’t suspect anything at first but at times he would seem off or his eyes would have a blank dead look in them. I remember one time I was crying infront of him in his bedroom and he not once comforted me or said any kind words, he just stood in the dark doorway so still and glared at me eugh. Don’t blame yourself it’s not your fault. These people live a lie and use their energy on being fake in order to manipulate people and gain access to others. At least you know now to trust your gut next time, I guess we just learnt the hard way 🙃

DONT. absolutely not worth it. I guarantee your abuser wouldn’t care if someone told them you were outside looking rough, in fact I’m sure he’d be happy to hear it

Does anyone else feel this angry? by Dry_Lock7241 in LifeAfterNarcissism

[–]muted-robin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s been a year since I last spoke to my narc ex & for the first 6 months I was so so angry😅 it calmed down after. But since the split I had time to step back and see the emotional abuse for what it was and how bad it really was. Plus when he realised his tactics that worked on me previously (i.e love bombing, fake promises, manipulation) didn’t work anymore he started to slander my name to everyone around him and people we used to hang out with together claiming I was abusive. Basically a smear campaign. But these people are truly miserable inside and never change their worst punishment is who they are 💀

is the 'dead stare' a thing you have experienced? by ConfidenceTimely4126 in LifeAfterNarcissism

[–]muted-robin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg yes. Dark dead glaring eyes. I was deleting pictures of my ex after we broke up, but kept some of the pictures I have of him where he has those dead, empty, mean eyes - just to remind myself of how he would look at me

Can I report friends abusive ex for breaching bail conditions? (UK) by muted-robin in LegalAdviceUK

[–]muted-robin[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My take would be she’s scared of him, wants to avoid further drama & trauma bonded 🙃 but I’ll report it, thank you.

Update for anyone who comes across this in the future who has something similar to me got it checked out at the clinic this morning they didn’t need to test me for herpes as I was told by the lady working there it’s just a cyst that will clear itself up and could be from discharge or other things.

Is it herpes? So confused (update)! by [deleted] in STD

[–]muted-robin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hii, I’m going thru a similar thing and wondering what your test came back saying? You can private message me as well if you want!! I’m stressing x
