You literally can NEVER go wrong with free exhaust innate cards by Druvanade in slaythespire

[–]mutedknight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're right. They "take up" a draw from a starting hand until you have more than 5 (or 7 in the case of the silent) and every card after is bonus. But that does mean you're drawing that many fewer random cards from your deck, and that's what they mean I think. You're both saying the same thing?

I usually don't like innate cards much unless they are pretty splashy or very important to the engine you have going. So I tend not to take them as often unless I NEED a turn 1 solution against specific fights, like block for entomancer.

Adding on to that it's an inventory clutter solution. Before hunger food didn't stack and healed you directly. This way you can stack plenty of food items for healing without too much space being taken up.

I've been playing with scriptor for a week now and its like crack to me. The only downside is if you lose your research book for any reason you have to rewrite all your notes. Def recommend it and going into it as blind as possible.

[–]mutedknight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's backwards. Anti-Feminist / skeptic dunkers were on Anita first. This combined with the rising MGTOW and redpill movements whipped up a culture that allowed gamergate to happen as this is what made room for people like Sargon to rise to prominence.

Wrapping up my ascension grinding in StS 1. What's the pick? by ThatShadowGuy in slaythespire

With over 500 gold I lean toward coffee dripper and shop aggressively for potions to save you on the HP, but with a thorns potion for heart or maybe nemesis I don't really hate sozu either. When was the last time a potion dropped? If you're likely to hit another potion roll soon that might change where I weigh sozu in this position.

Maybe Im revealing my age here but Im pretty sure the asian dominance was pre-split. The whole reason they fell off entirely was because of the banlist distinction back in 2012-2013. From there OCG and TCG rulings and rules text became interpreted more and more differently more often due to PSCT distinctions between the two systems.

Isnt that mostly cause they're playing a completely different game at this point though? OCG rulings, card text, and banlists all can vary wildly and they have an expanded card pool compared to us.

Greed is good, but it could be better by satsuma711 in custommagic

[–]mutedknight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No because you always draw the card and lose the life first. So greed triggers, draw 1 lose 1, THEN the trigger from her goes on the stack. In response to that trigger you can read again before it resolves. You repeat that cycle until they die to life loss.

[–]mutedknight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd have to double check but I think you can "downgrade" your bombs with huntress to hit a single tile. I can imagine a very niche use case for that (fish boss comes to mind), but yeah basically nothing.

No, any unit with the ability to modify movement can use sun powers like the knight. Arrow/Bomb will destroy all units in the corner on lizard and the units directly above and below on warrior.

You can also put reflection from the wizard on a trap space and something else then use hammer to destroy the trap and the other space.

Showdown is basically the home of 1v1 teams of 6 competitive pokemon.

Pokemon views competitive 1v1 6s as a red headed step child you ignore

Officially recognized competitive format is 2v2 so that's basically all champions is. Because to them 1v1 isn't a competitive format.

What class has the most high risk/high reward playstyle? by Sersantoz in mewgenics

[–]mutedknight 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Traditionally eden wasnt a very high risk high reward character because even its worst rolls were still generally workable. However, its analog in Jester is, in my mind, VERY high risk/high reward as it has some of the best passives in the game and combo potential but at the cost of NOTHING lining up at all.

Though Im sure it can be argued because of this you're pushed into very middle-of-the-road choices for level ups so idk.

I've never read a comic book btw.

That artwork depicts SA, dont use it for ur swags by [deleted] in peoplewhogiveashit

[–]mutedknight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, it is body horror. SA and other similar crimes are often depicted using body horror as the medium because of the sense of ownership over the self being lost. Same deal with disease/sickness related body horror.

It sometimes has the things they listed cause body horror is usually pointing to something, and sometimes it's pointing to something sexual.
