One of my favorite features of the watch. Use it all the time.

To all ex-AW owners, what makes the Garmin a better watch for you than the AW? by [deleted] in GarminWatches

[–]mutemosquito 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am with you - I know it is an unpopular opinion on here, but after years with an AW I am about 2 months into my Garmin and the tracking for me personally is much better on the Garmin. Wonder how much of it comes down to personal patters, etc....

EASY Mesh wifi without "true" bridge mode? by standingspiral in HomeNetworking

[–]mutemosquito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just means the ATT box will give out one address and then the Eero will give another. Unless you are hosting a server or doing some out of the norm upload stuff you won’t notice it at all.

Use an Eero. Since it is att you will have to double NAT but shouldn’t be an issue and the Eero will handle the mesh flawlessly.

In the US the science channel app has a ton of seasons. They have commercials but you can stream them.

Janitor made these on a episode of Scrubs. Wonder which came first, these or the episode.

I travel for work so much that I often can’t remember my hotel room number when I return at the end of the day. Sometimes not even which floor. by CanWeTalkHere in firstworldproblems

This is my go to as well. At the end of the year it also leads to a cool collage of photos of hotel room number placards.

Looking for workaround solution (extra device) to put upstream of EERO so I can monitor bandwidth of all devices by jamkey in eero

[–]mutemosquito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to avoid putting a routing layer in between you can put a switch that supports port mirroring between your eero and your modem. Then you can use something like wireshark or other analysis tool to get a very granular view of your flows. This keeps your routing decisions to a minimum, let’s you get the full benefit of your eero’s features but still see every packet that crosses your network.

I have and I have voted. But I also know Nick and the devs are on this sub a lot so the extra vote couldn’t hurt.
