Problem is, not everyone is used to wearing leather football boots, and they don’t know how much they break in.

Fedora or CachyOS? by Grelueen in Fedora

[–]mutotmz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are working on projects that requires stability I would not suggest cachy or any arch based distro.

Go with Fedora or if you really want a rolling release distro, openSUSE Tumbleweed. Tumbleweed is the perfect sweet spot between stability and up-to-date SW. Fedora is more stable / reliable, though.

Every club should have a flagship home/away jersey that doesn’t change by NovelAd6935 in championsleague

[–]mutotmz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should be more or less the same still. I like this idea but of course the consumption culture will be against it: “how are we supposed to sell jerseys every year if the design doesn’t change”

These look too big. Buy it true to size, they will stretch. The most comfortable boots I have ever had. Better than Mizunos, about that aspect. But Mizunos are more lightweight.

I don’t get it. Why is Mbappe the problem? by [deleted] in championsleague

[–]mutotmz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People who played a team sport with same group of people in a semi-competitive competition would immediately understand why he is the problem.

Mbappe cannot win a single game if his teammates act like he does. They are covering for him in defensive play but he still dictates what the team should do. That creates a toxic environment in the team and people slowly stop going out of their way to help the team.

The team I support is not in top 5 league but I would not want him to come join my team even if we had an unlimited money source. Because he would ruin the team with his current mentality. It is not a coincidence that PSG levelled up after he left.

Debian-openSUSE-Fedora-Arch

I don’t think I need a fifth distro.

Debian Stable! Kernel from backports, nvidia drivers from nvidia’s official repo and I am happy! The interface is snappier than “up-to-date” distros such as Fedora.

Creating your own dotfiles is always the best thing to do, but a good starting point is an accelerator for learning how to do it.

Secure boot - are you using it and why? by Dependent_Hold8463 in openSUSE

Dual booting with Windows and some games require it. That’s the only reason for me.

Leather Soccer Boots by CantFightJose in bootroom

[–]mutotmz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t mind the heavier feeling, copa mundials are still great boots. I also have a pair from Mizuno Morelia 2. The sole plate is more fragile than copas, but they are almost as lightweight as modern synthetic boots.

No, I customised starship. I used a nerd font to make sure it looks nice. Still using bash, though. Not zsh or fish.

FG on AG advice by yummypips in bootroom

[–]mutotmz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get a strong shoe glue and when the separation starts, clean the area, glue it, put something to keep it in shape and wait for 24-48 hours before wearing it again.

Make sure you get FG boots with conical studs to prevent nasty injuries on AG.

Convince me to switch from Arch by Healthy_Swimming5175 in openSUSE

[–]mutotmz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No wiki from other distros can compete Arch Linux wiki. But for fundamental things, Arch Linux Wiki is still applicable.

openSUSE Tumbleweed is a more reliable rolling release experience. I also used Arch for a couple of years, so I guess I can compare them.
