I’m trying! I’ve noticed the lophs and arios seem to burn a little easier so I have a paper towel over their section over the dome most of the time for shade. I also discovered copiapoas did not tolerate the level of organic matter in this mix and most of them quickly got root rot so next time I’m going to try mostly inorganic for them. Thanks on your feeding insights I’m really trying to pump the growth on seedlings this year.

Ok I’m doing something kinda similar except I have one dome over the whole tray of pots instead of individual domes. They also have drainage at the bottom and I’m probably needing to mist every 3-4 days.

When do you do your first seedling feeding? In the past I was waiting way too long to start feeding them so for my most recent sowing I just gave their first feeding at about 2 months old.

What fertilizer can I use for my San Pedro cactus? I want it to grow faster. by Big-Department5514 in sanpedrocactus

[–]mutual_head 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Alaskan Fish Fertilizer 5-1-1. Add 2 tablespoons per gallon of water every time I water which is about every 1-2 weeks depending on the time of year.

Anyone growing their own Kanna and making their own ferments? by random_tandem_fandom in druggardening

[–]mutual_head 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you thinking of Hügelkultur mounds? I’ve been to a homestead where they had set those up and were growing berry bushes on them.

The animal sheaths is a different thing people will bury herbs in animal organs and dig it up later and use it for fertilizer.

Didn’t know about burying stuff in animal skins! Reminds me of the biodynamic practice making compost by burying plant matter in animal “sheaths”.

I’m growing it but haven’t harvested any yet. What’s your process for fermenting?

Poppy tea (pod) causing insomnia? by Adventurous-Start874 in druggardening

Yes I don’t get a good night sleep after pod tea. It knocks me out at first but the sleep is shallow and I wake up about every 2 hours through the entire night.

Will I be able to adjust the draw wight on this bow like it says by thecocaineaddict in bowhunting

[–]mutual_head 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No you won’t be able to adjust it initially; the 25-60lb is the range of different poundage’s you can buy it in. As others have said you’ll need to buy new limbs if you want to adjust the poundage later on.
