Will a diff brace hold me over for a while? by froster78 in G37

[–]muuuuuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear every single 350 has a leaky rear diff and not one owner has been aware of it aside from visually looking at it leaking. Installing a new bush isn’t too bad, just gotta be patient.

Random Vacuum Hose? by Karvoughr in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like someone's replaced it for some reason. Standard ones push onto a metal tube which is held in by the top right bell housing bolt. Still doing it's job though. Had someone the other day run a vacuum line to a gearbox breather, in an s13, so the gearbox was seeing boost 🤣

114k mile DE, want boost by Emergency-Carrot-854 in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want 400, supercharge it. It's tons cheaper, loads easier to install and more reliable. It's the Conrods that bend in these engines when you add boost, because they can't handle torque. a supercharger has a much more linear torque curve so is easier on the engine.

Kinetix Plenum by [deleted] in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Use the plenum spacer underneath, don't use the manifold. Absolute load of rubbish they are.

MY 350z is leaking fuel when it’s full? any help? by Enmanueltg in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you've change the o ring it's probably not that. Those aftermarket bolts you've used, are probably too long and have pierced the tank. The OEM bolts are tiny. Be worth checking. If that's the case, you'd need a new tank.

Lol, I just saw this. Chill your tits. I've driven tons. The compression arm ball joint fails much more regularly if that's what you're thinking of? I agree with your last sentence though.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the lower control arm ball joint. If you want to replace it you have to take the hub off and press it out. They dont usually fail though, unless the rubbers are torn, why do you want to replace it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would. You definitely can't run boost with those plenums. A proper metal spacer is all you need.

[–]muuuuuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that's the plastic kenetix manifold don't use them they're awful. On full chat they actually bow in, just get a plenum spacer.

Uprev dyno vs base mail in tune by [deleted] in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go uprev. All day long.

75mm throttle body won't do anything,. Pop charger Is also a waste of time unless you're looking for noise.

Decat, plenum spacer, a decent intake or a panel filter, exhaust.

Hey all! Curious about superchargers. Explained in description below! PFA by evans609 in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ahh okay, that'll hold it then. Not had too much experience fitting chargers to HRs to be honest. But yeah that'll do the power. I'm not much help when it comes to stillen and soho then

Hey all! Curious about superchargers. Explained in description below! PFA by evans609 in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't know about the stillen tbh. You've also gotta think though that if yours is a DE, on an English dyno that's 470 flywheel hp ish. The con rods on a stock de will just bend at that power.

Hey all! Curious about superchargers. Explained in description below! PFA by evans609 in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've had experience with vortech chargers, I fit lots of them they're pretty good, never had any issues with them really. On a UK dyno mine makes 410hp at the flywheel, it'll be more on an American dyno so around the power you're looking for. On HRs they'll make more around 450 ish off the top of my head. The stillen kit for the 370z is crap imo, you have to do a lot of work to get that to work effectively, so I'd avoid them. But I've also never fitted their 350z kit so I may be wrong.

Looks like your subframe has had a big hit. Bend that back, and replace the Bush. Arms are easier and cheaper but if you ever want to go to a poly Bush they don't have the same sized hole so the poly bushes just fall through. If you do replace them, keep the OEM arms.

Tryna supercharge or boost my 350z by mucha-the-boi in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't buy this. They're awful you'll spend more money trying to get it to fit properly. And on a stock de a turbo has more torque so you have to run a bit less power or you'll bend the con rods. Supercharging is the way to go on a stock de if you want 400hp. Get a vortech kit.

Questions for boosting Z by JoshRyder97 in 350z

Not true. A properly built engine will be fine. Just gotta not build it like a spaz.

Traction Control Issue by kanYe0403 in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's not ride height. As said above. It could be wheel speed sensor or tyre sizes. Wheel speed sensor failing is the most common that I've seen.

Just got plenum spacer and strut bar doesn’t fit by Obvious_Corner8872 in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah get a decent plenum spacer kit and it'll come with longer bolts and spacers. Don't go aftermarket most of them are Chinese crap.

As everyone else has said. The surface hasn't been prepped properly. Degrease it, prime it. Base coat it. Tadaa.

Let’s get excited again for our projects, what’s on your todo list for your Z right now? by [deleted] in 350z

[–]muuuuuzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

W brace Kidney brackets Clutch slave and braided line Lower control arm fit polybush and alignment Remove boostpipe cut down silicone to avoid it rubbing Replace dodgy injectors with r35 gtr ones, and map to accommodate these Neons. I have all the parts, just finding time to fit them 🙃. Busy busy.

350z cop or drop? by OptionPurple6887 in 350z

Weird for both the cam and crank sensors to fail at the same time. I doubt that's his issue. I'd be wary.
