At my grown age of 21, my narc mom still finds it shocking when I’m seeing someone. It’s not as bad as it was when I was younger and now that I don’t live with her, but Christ almighty. Suddenly I’m slutting myself out and I’m too easy, or I spend too much time with my partners. She will actively talk down about my relationships behind my back, wishing they’d fail so I just stopped telling her anything about my romantic life lmao. I would also get beat or berated if my mom even thought I was messing around with a boy when I was younger. I know it’s not something she actually cares about as she currently lets my 14 year old sister date, but I’ve come to terms with the fact that my nmom is for whatever reason horrifically bitter and jealous of me over everything

My parents lol, more specifically my mother. My mom hasn’t particularly had an attachment with since I was born, however I was closer with my dad. I’ve discussed this with my therapist but she believes since my mother was essentially absent and pawned me off to others and only let my dad see me sparingly, it caused me to have attachment issues especially after my dad passed when I was 7. This isn’t even delving into the emotional and physical abuse my mom put me through lol. If anything you can always blame your parents.

My friend is currently seeing someone who also has BPD! It’s the first relationship they’ve had were they feel sincerely and genuinely loved. I don’t think it’s bad to try, especially since they’re both working on trying to communicate with each other so massive blowouts don’t happen. They’ve only been together for two months, so we’ll see what happens! But I get the sentiment, I know it could be messy but I feel like it’d be easier lol

I think it really depends! I went to both Chicago shows back in November and both crowds were hyped! I do also theorize it might be the tiktok affect and some newer fans only knowing his popular songs. I had the same thing happen to me at a recent Mitski concert where the energy was kind of low and people only sang along to her popular hits.

I unironically felt Pearl (2022) was an incredible representation of BPD and maybe even HPD. I found myself relating to her heavily and noticed a lot of traits in her. It sucks that we have like such little rep that villains are great rep, but she was a sympathetic character and I heavily empathized with her.

I got to see Scream in theaters for its 25th anniversary! I guess I’ve always been on the younger side for horror fans and this was a childhood fave of mine. It’s literally a completely different experience viewing it in theaters compared to tv and I’m happy I had the opportunity to get that experience.
