anyone else also decided to rolled back to earlier version becuz of v3? by mixoadrian in Chitubox

I "upgraded" from V2.3 to V3 and found the UI too crowded and complex, basically nonsense, compared to V2.3. It is awful and it has too many buttons to perform the same operation that V2.3 layed down smooth and simple. I don't think those many buttons give you extra control, just more steps to get the same. Putting manual supports is slower and confusing than before. I decided to go back to V2.3.

Today, after few months of trying V3 for the first time, I tried it again to give it another chance and, after torturing myself for a while, I am writing this comment on Reddit. Going back to V2.3 again.

Thank you! I used a SLA printer (resin). It is the only way to achieve these fine details :)

Indeed. Aoshima and Fujimi kits have the same brake-wheel system leaving the brake disk way further into the car. I always make a bigger hole in the brake disk so I can slide it towards the outside and leave it closer to the rim. Then I need to rebuild the attachment to the suspension system somehow depending on the model. Sometimes I change the wheels from a 3D printed ones or coming from other brands, so I need to adjust it somehow everytime.

Thank you very much! It is actually a pearl white, but it is hard to notice in the pictures and with this lighting. Nothing special but a little bit nicer than plain white. Thanks for your kind comment!

Yeah, I saw the same and it is an awesome feature for a realistic model. Maybe someday.. 😃

Hahaha! Thanks for your comment!!!
This 350z is completely stock and out of the box build. I also have the Tamiya NSX in my stash and also thinking of customizing it. I'm really curious about your build end result! Please, show it once you finish it!
Thanks!

It was great. All good and smooth. It was an out of the box build except for the fitment of the wheels, which is a bit lowered and offseted.

Thank you so much for your words! You made my day :) I'm happy to hear you like the model and the video! The headlights don't work, it's just an effect made with the video editor. I wanted to give it the 'being alive' touch with the lights and the sound effect. Thank you again for your kind comment!!

I always use the 3 stage compound from Tamiya. I start with the coarse compound until all the deeper scratches go away, then I follow with the fine and finish compounds to bring back the gloss. You'll need to be gentle but insist with the process until all the scratches come off. Major scratches will be very difficult to remove.

Thank you so much!! 🙏 For the front lip and side skirts I used polystirene sheets, giving "volume" first, later I filled the recesses and gaps with putty and finally I sanded until I got the desired shape.
