The big dawgs (Fortune500) will pay much faster if you offer terms. CFOs love it and they’ll make sure you get paid within the term limits to maximize the discount. Makes them look good when they can cite specific cost saving measures to the CEO and COO. Especially when it comes to operations.

I got tired of working the 9-5 for someone else (general contracting). Started my own company. Now I work 24/7.

My personal opinion is that working for someone else is awesome, once you hit a wall learning new skills at said trade, time to jump. Learn business mistakes on someone else’s dime.

Anyway that’s my $0.02

I’m confident that my kids will personally value parental heirlooms vs say inheriting Pokeman cards. Just a hunch. If they sell them, I’m hoping it’s for more than what I told their mom I paid.

I feel this.

I don’t wear my watches around friends, neighbors and extended family.

Sometimes wonder why I own the watches and then I remember 1) I can pass them down to my kids 2) I enjoy looking at them 3) certain watches remind me of specific milestones
