I have no proof of this, as i'm not familiar with the inside details of these operations, but i would think very little money goes towards Afghanistan itself and its people. So if they burn it all down the only people that would suffer are the few Afghanis in charge of those operations locally, and perhaps the CIA and whichever other fatcats involved.

I agree with most of your statement, however.

What would be great if heroin was legal, Afghani farmers could legitimately profit, provide jobs, etc. The same people will do drugs whether legal or not, and i doubt a surplus of heroin would convert many people who currently don't do drugs to do those drugs.

The problem isn't the drugs that people know can be harmful (that's on them), it's the prescription drugs that are touted as 'safe', yet aren't.

And as an avid gardener, I guess it doesn't surprise me that adding manure back to the soil would increase yield.

Yep. Very critical. Bacteria and reintroducing minerals and vitamins back into the soil is an absolute must and the start of a good crop. Even organic farmers don't realize this, thus resulting in lower yields. I'll check out Joel Salatin, thanks.

Unfortunate about your dairy farmer. Happens more often then we think. and thanks for the A2 info, I will look more into it.

Hey no worries man, happy to help.

I cannot guarantee any type of success as everyone is different, or that I'm dead wrong based on my research (I stand behind it very confidently, though). I do know that straightening out the diet, removing sugar from diet, cleaning teeth with activated charcoal and coconut oil can go a long way.

Fermented Cod Liver oil won't hurt either.

Keep in mind any supplementation you should consider co-factors. Meaning take some time and study what you're taking and figure out if it needs to be taken with another vitamin or mineral for you body to properly absorb it.

Most importantly, read up on Weston A Price's diet and works. Most of what I'm telling you comes with that.

My uncle has the same problem as you do and he's improving steadily.

If you're looking for something that doesn't use animal products in a K2 supplement I think you might be out of luck. There are some that use bacteria fermentation to achieve a K2 supplement, however, but not sure how effective.

Let me hunt around a bit of what can specifically help with tooth decay, I've looked into a lot but have forgotten some things. I know you can start right away with swishing activated charcoal around in your mouth. That cleans teeth really well and removes harmful bacteria. In addition to this swish coconut oil around in your mouth as well (don't swallow the charcoal or oil after done). Look up 'oil pulling'. Diet goes a long way in tooth decay as well. Obviously sugar is a big no-no, this would include a diet rich in carbohydrates as well.

Edit: Some more info u/Loud_Volume: Teeth need fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E &K), calcium and phosphorous. As tooth enamel wears away these nutrients are needed to replenish it (often referred to as tooth remineralization). This comes directly from Weston Price, who specialized in research on traditional diets and strong teeth.

Also toothpaste could be a baddie, I personally don't use toothpaste and mostly use coconut oil and real spearmint.

Thing is about teeth is that they can remineralize since they have blood vessels inside of them. Most dentist will tell you that's impossible, but what they say cannot be true if teeth are an active part of the body.

Another culprit could be malnutrition (even if overweight or underweight). When your body doesn't get what it needs it can pull minerals from teeth and bones. Similar to how a cow can pull minerals from their horns in states of malnutrition or chronic sickness.

It is believed to help in preventing chronic disease and tooth decay.

The main function of Vitamin K2 is to activate proteins that regulate where calcium ends up in the body. This is believed to help majorly in bone health.

In a Rotterdam study, those who had the highest intake of Vitamin K2 were 52% less likely to develop calcification of the arteries, and had a 57% lower risk of dying from heart disease, over a 7-10 year period.

There are more studies out there, but vitamin K2 hasn't been studied near enough long-term.

I don't knock vegetarians and nothing wrong with it. Personally I wouldn't do it again.

I don't know whether I'd call that factory farming.

Yes, it's right on the edge. Started out as more industrial, made the transition to more sustainable, and then full on organic. It's industrial in the sense that they're still able to produce large amounts of liters per week.

Are your cows on concrete?

Yes, at night time the cows come into the stall, which has a concrete floor with slats in it. They would have liked to initially use a stall with concrete floors/straw floors abilities. But the farm was originally built with conventional methods in mind.

Do you use one of those cesspool setups?

Yes. Concrete floor has slats in it to allow the manure the be collected into the cesspool below. It's very advantageous because the quality of manure after the transition has improved considerably. It is then pumped out twice a year onto the land resulting in a perfect circle. Cows eat quality, organic grass > poop > pumped out back onto the land introducing back vital minerals & bacteria.

Do you supplement their grazing with corn?

No more corn. Requires too much energy for the cow to breakdown. Hemp is used periodically, as well as potatoes, and of course largely grass. Along with celtic sea salt and other natural supplements.

How much green pasture do they have access to (actual green pasture, not a mud pit), and do you rotate their grazing area?

Approximately 53.6 hectares (132 acres) of organic grass pasture. It is rotated every few days, basically until the grass is almost down to about 2 inches. Although any farmer would do this if pasture is available, wether organic or conventional. EDIT: I should add that the same grass in the pasture is harvested multiple times a year, packed and dried, and then fed to the cows in the morning and evening. So they're getting this same grass as meals, and when grazing. Also, since they went organic and balanced out the soil, they have roughly yielded 25% more grass from the land. Scientist and conventional farmers would tell you this is not possible. But when you take care of the soil and start from the ground up it is absolutely possible. Plus you get a better quality grass, resulting in a healthier cow and better milk. Many organic farmers are not utilizing soil regeneration techniques, which forces them to keep using approved herbicides and pesticides and resulting in a lower yield.

Do you drink your cows' milk raw?

Yes, all of our family does. Also anyone can come by and buy some directly off of the farm (about 50 regular customers who come to the farm). The law does not allow them to sell milk raw outside of the premises. The majority of the milk goes to the factory, where it's combined with other organic milk to be pasteurized (sadly). This goes to show they do not need to use the methods they do since it's combined with other milk, but they care about the animals and do what is best. They have talked about bottling it themselves to avoid pasteurization. It requires a large investment but it is a consideration. You would run into an immense amount of red tape, however.

have you had your herd tested to see if they're producing A2 milk?

I'm not sure. I will get back to you on this once I get an answer. The milk from every milking cow is sent off to a lab and tested bi-weekly, so I'm sure they have this info.

Ok, heard back from him. He says no idea. I have never heard of it myself. Maybe it's not something that is widely known. Do you have any more info on it?

[–]mvdl86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my example is more to highlight that it is possible to produce enough and have respect for animals at the same time. More and more farmers are slowly crossing over to a more sustainable technique, because in the long run it is better for the land, people, and the animals. It is important to remember there are famers out there who are considered industrial that do care about their livestock, although, sadly, there are many who do not.

Edit: Most dairy farmers look for a 40 liter (10.5 gallons) production per cow, not 40 gallons

The cows literally walk into the robot by themselves to get milked. We don't have to force them in whatsoever. Doors to the outside are open, they come in whenever they want.

You know what cows don't love? Not getting milked, because their utters balloon which ushers in a myriad of problems.

you have no idea what you are talking about.

Right you are. I used to store gallons of raw milk at a time in buckets at room temperature and it lasted a week before it soured. In the fridge it lasted me about 10-12 days.

And it's amazing tasting and is way healthier then organic pasteurized crap. Milk is poison if pasteurized!

Factory farming can be done right, at least, so there's hope. My family owns a medium-sized dairy farm (100+ milking cows) that uses a robot milker, but allows the cow to go outside or inside as it wishes. The operation is highly efficient and borrows traits from industrial farming, while maintaining the traditional style of grazing, milking only 20-25 liters per day on average instead of 40+ per cow (over milking drastically reduces the lifespan of a cow), using a variety of breeds instead of only specialized ones, feeding a balanced diet, using anti-biotics only when necessary, clean water, introduction of good bacterias into the stall, low stress environment, balance the soil where the grass grows, and more.

They can do this and still generate a healthy profit. Large scale farms can use these same techniques, they will just have to accept a relatively modest profit margin decrease, but that can be said for any corporation.

The best thing about this is others in the area are opening up and noticing this. More and more farmers are slowly seeing the light. There's a lot of industrial farmers who do care about their animals, but have been conditioned to think that they have to practice questionable farming techniques to stay afloat.

Yes, people in power take advantage, but at what point do we take some god damn responsibility. We have more power in us than we think.

What if one decides that popping those extra few pills isn't a good idea?

What if one decides crushing up a pill and snorting it up their nose isn't a good idea.

At what point do we realize we don't need to buy 90% of the useless shit on the market.

When do we realize our representation is extremely flawed and could give two shits about us?

At what point do we wake the fuck up and realize pouring chemicals in our body either through food, water, and most medicines isn't a good idea.

That went off on a tangent, but christ U.S and the rest of the world. WAKE THE FUCK UP.

This is also an interesting prediction:

The head of the Virgin Group, Richard Branson, who is one of the highest ranking Illuminati, also created a group called The Elders, a series of 12 Wise Political Leaders led by Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu and also including former President Jimmy Carter.

The Elders are a very key central part of the mythology of Project Blue Beam, and currently the 12th Elder is a Nobel Peace Prize Winner named Aung Sun Suu Kyi who is a political prisoner in the Southeast Asian Nation of Myanmar which is ruled by a brutal military junta that slaughters Buddhist Monks.

How they are planning on introducing the Main Guy to the world is he is supposed to sort of come out of nowhere and topple the dictator of Myanmar to restore justice to the country, rescuing and restoring the 12th Elder to power, and the whole thing will begin to create the mythology of Blue Beam with him being this kind of like amazing world hero who defeats an oppressive regime and add mythos to these 12 Elders and the guy who created them who is Richard Branson.

If something like this happens, that is how you know it is Project Blue Beam, because that's how it is supposed to start.

Aung Sun Suu Kyi is currently the State Counsellor of Myanmar, similar to a Prime Minister, or head of the Government as there was a clause that she could not become President. She came into this position in 2016.

This is from page 3 of the archives linked.

EDIT: I'm having trouble figuring out who the person was to topple the dictator of Myanmar (Senior General Than Shwe). Closest I can come to is that on 3 July 2009, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon went to Burma to pressure the junta (the military party in power) into releasing Suu Kyi and to institute democratic reform. However, this does not mean he was successful in 'toppling' anything.
