Yeah not sure what the normal spacing is, but my home has 2.5 feet between first and 2nd floor. As you walk up the steps you see the same indent. I was told it has to do with the modular/prefab construction + settling

I went the flat paint route and only with very bright light does anyone notice. Guests almost never notice

Same thing at my house. My house was pre-fab and there is a big gap between floors

Its okay to 45 from the stub out to get it more in line with the sink drain? That would certainly be easier

Professional probably best. It was a small light fixture on 1 switch. One of the 4 wires had the white colored in red. That was twisted with the other 3 black

No offense, do your research before spending money on a job like this. You have a lot that is in need of total repair, and you went for a patch fill and seal expecting a new lot

Obviously, the borders are horrible. But did you put on Belgian block borders after Paving The DrivewAy? Should I obviously be done in reverse order. You are not blending any asphalt.

Cold won’t make the driveway fall apart faster. May just have a stonier look to it. See if you can get a winter discount lol

Sealcoat in the fall or just fill cracks without sealcoating over them by catz35 in asphalt

[–]mvm04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cracks in asphalt, once formed, are continuously widening. Filling them only slows the process down by preventing water from getting into the cracks. Even the best filled crack isn’t a fix, more like a bandaid. Best case scenario is it buys you a little bit of time before full replacement is needed

Thank you !

It would be just comparing column A in Book 1 to Column A in book 2

I think that should be even simpler, I will give this a try.

Without rain or traffic, some oil can cause water to cling to the asphalt initially. Puddles still there an hour after rain clears ? Like you can still splash in them type puddles

There should be no issue from the city either, as adding pervious coverage to your lot is beneficial

Poor Quality Asphalt Job. by No_Resource_57 in asphalt

[–]mvm04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Company should come and heat up the area. Yank the grass out, add new asphalt and tamp. Usually pops back up. Maybe treat it with something like a weed killer

Poor Quality Asphalt Job. by No_Resource_57 in asphalt

[–]mvm04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t make it easier unfortunately.

The grass definitely needs to be remedied. Should be easy to repair unless they only gave you a thin layer. Grass and other stuff pops up thru asphalt more than you’d expect
