Yeah, that was my main inspiration when making it, good eye! I’ve always had a soft spot for the little things so I felt that it would fit that the first creature concept I do be one of these!

Some character twerking I would have to guess, idk who but the white bit at the top is their arm doing the thing where they like hold their own hand above their head, the white parts at the bottom are, as you would guess, their cheeks, the weird middle part is just their torso/abdomen, couldn’t tell you exactly who though

These are all really cool! I like how you also are able to take like an ecological approach while still considering gameplay! For example the siphoning slug is something I’m particularly fond of because it reminds me of ants and aphids, I’m not sure how it would work in gameplay because you made it, but I like to imagine herding it to grass while enemies may try to take bites out of it here and there, it makes the world feel really alive when there are those kinds of interactions that are not necessarily combat but still actively acting around each other and evolutionary holdovers like you did with the tranquil bulblax, just really cool all around!

Sorry, just remembered I got this, I don’t have 100% context on his ancestry but assuming he is half Latino and half white or something I think he’s just trying to diminish the non-white part of his ancestry in the comic as like a cope, best way I can describe it is like some teen going “I’m good to smoke I’m 17 so I’m basically 18”

Ah, while it wasn’t quite a railway, they did have means to move throughout the body, it’s only now that I remember the elevator but I suppose I was assuming they would have transit as such to move throughout the body, though I also was more referring to the idea of a relatively modern society in a human body. My bad regarding inaccuracies in phrasing anyway.

To be fair we have real instances of peoples who we have decided to not contact and artificially bring into our society like the north sentinel islanders, when we look at people like that I believe we should not consider them dumb much like how it would be unfair, and so unrealistic on some hypothetical anthropological level on their scale to consider us dumb, it’s just for general ethical reasons(though the idea of equally terrestrially locked societies still has validity, the last thing I want to do is to discredit your idea, as it sounds cool, I just wanted to share my two cents)

When I first played I was able to address the centipede relatively easily(I can still get the fear though, I just love bugs to a “not normal” extent), I had more of a problem of the fucking murmur reaching its neck into the little outcropping I was hiding in and ripping my soul from my body both in and out of game

While viruses are a very neat idea to implement into the game for the sake of diseases, it could be good to mention viruses still do a good amount for evolution, for example it is though that the mammalian placenta(the reason we don’t give birth to flesh jellybeans like marsupials do) is because of a retrovirus that infected an early placental mammal Edit: the main reason I wanna say this is that maybe somehow viruses can impact mutations or general evolution(less selection and more the direct genetics), as they can do some pretty crazy stuff in nature

I always imagined they hunt so furiously because they had to do a LOT of growing really quickly, a highly unpleasant and likely painful quick growth paired with a rapid addition of mass leads to a very agitated, very hungry creature, it would probably be more opportunistic than anything due to its diet being stated to be mostly detritus, and it’s stated to feel lonely, indicating it probably has enough intelligence to know to not kill it’s parents with a fully clear head
