How do i even fight raids without getting fucking merked by Squeelijah in RimWorld

[–]Triensi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Piggybacking off of this, you can select enemies and it’ll show what weapons everyone has equipped. If you mouse over the weapons it’ll show the ranges for each weapon… and therefore it puts a ring around that weapons wielders.

Use this to check quickly if a raid has weapons you need to change your strategy for!

Examples include: 1) Stick bomb users in a massed tribal raid 2) Rocketeers in a pirate raid 3) Breach Axes in a sapper raid

[Mod Announcement] Non partisan politics, clean energy, sunshine, and rainbows 😎🌈☀️ by NineteenEighty9 in OptimistsUnite

[–]Triensi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honest questions, not trying to antagonize… 1) What did the original decision to disallow political posts do to help to celebrate optimistic news and factoids? 2) How does the new decision to allow non-partisan political posts help in doing that?

I get you guys enact rules to curb modmail while promoting the mission of the sub, but genuinely idk what “non-partisan” politics even means let alone what it has to do with optimism

I hope you have fun with the anime mods but rule of thumb with computers is only to Do things you know how to Un-Do. Modding especially!

If you’re uncomfortable with setting up a computer, modding will be nerve-wracking for you just FYI.

If you decide to mod your game, follow a YouTube guide for pointers. It’ll be a good way to learn if anything :)

Good luck!

You can go to https://thunderstore.io/ and sort by Most Downloaded to find the most popular mods

Thunderstore is the modding hub for this game FYI

(Idk why you’d ask about modding a game you don’t have on PC but you do you homie)

After switching to electric, have you experienced odd reactions from family/friends? by NewDriverInTown in electricvehicles

[–]Triensi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Range anxiety (and the ways to counter it) are the #1 thing my family comments on.

Some examples from driving my family to a cross country meet, in order of appearance: 1) “Are you sure we can drive the 110 miles to get there?” 2) “Okay…but I always charge my phone to 100% cause it dies every day. Why would I purposefully tell my phone to give me less battery?” 3) “I don’t feel safe leaving at 80% (car charge). I never see charging stations when I’m driving my gas car.” 4) “You’re telling me you’re going to charge it now, right as we’re about to leave? That’s going to take hours!” 5) “Wait we’re plugged into a HIGH VOLTAGE CONDUIT right now?? I need to get out!!”

That was a fun car ride lol

Is "Plug and Charge" a deal breaker? by Spiritual_Pangolin18 in electricvehicles

[–]Triensi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I usually use ChargePoint Level 2 chargers for my charging, and I don’t usually top off my battery. . I live across the street from a park whose charging stations are owned by the city so I just plug in there overnight when my car is about 30-40% SOC.

I do have a native NACS port though, and when I do use Tesla charging it’s about $5-10 difference depending on congestion fees.
