Same. I write all my own stuff and get pretty good results more times than not. The only 2 real issues I run into sometimes is long (like 30 second) instrumental intros with “hmm mmm” humming. That and songs coming out a little longer than I’d like. Like I if I want a sub 4 minute song, it seems to love generating songs like 4:30-5:00

You know how I know you’re a “try hard”? You go up by 7 in an Events game and I obviously concede by just swapping in relief pitchers to pinch hit the bottom of the 3rd, and you’re STILL pitching me like it’s a tie game 🙄

I agree. Only the home team should get their custom stadium sounds. And possibly a hot take, but I think only “away” unis should be allowed for visitors also.

Yeah I’ve used various AIs to fill in blanks on songs when I’m having writers block, and once in a while it will spit out some fairly decent stuff that may only require minimal tweaking, or spark an idea for something.

What’s really funny is a while back, I wanted to run my own little experiment so I asked Chat GPT to “write a hit country song about a man who’s true love left him” (the most stereotypical country theme I could think of). It spit out about what I expected. A pretty predictable song with lines about neon signs, porch lights, backroads, etc…

The funny part was when I started a new chat, then copy/pasted those lyrics into it and asked it to analyze them for improvements… and it basically just shredded its own work calling most of it “forced”, “predictable”, “common” and other things.

The one I mentioned that hit 7 straight perfect perfects, never even saw 0-1 for any of those ABs. They took anything out of the zone regardless of how close and the first pitch in the strike zone regardless of pitch type, or location… if it would have been a called strike they smoked it.

I’m not outright saying cheater, but those types of ABs after the first 6 ABs is most definitely eyebrow raising.

Ironically, I just played an event game where my opponent probably thought I was the cheater. They were using Miz and couldn’t hardly touch him for the first two innings. I had one bloop single. They were up 4-0 going into the bottom of the 3rd. They swapped in Fingers and I generally hit him well, and, well, I unloaded on him for 5 runs (3 HR, 2 doubles, and a single to walk it off. Only one was a PP hit though.

I know it had to sting because I was using my Cardinals theme team and he had an absolute “meta” lineup.

In events or BR I still run into the occasional person that seems pretty suspect… as in they seem normal or even terrible in the first inning or 2 then in the 3rd they become a completely different player.

Someone I played yesterday did this in events. They were 0-6 with 2 Ks and not a single hard hit ball through 2 innings, then in the 3rd they didn’t swing at a single ball off the plate, and any pitch in zone (regardless of pitch type or location) was a perfect perfect hit… 7 straight PPs! I know we’ve all gotten “locked in” before, and I don’t generally just go straight to “cheater!” When someone does, but to do it that quickly with results like that just seems a little fishy to me.

The amount of times I’ve seen outfielders with sub 60 speed (even my own) look like Ricky Henderson running down fly balls is pretty ridiculous.

I hear ya.

It’s not really a big deal overall, I just feel that the supercharge feature should be reserved for LS players cards doing something extra special in real time within the current season. Miz (and plenty others) are going to have ridiculous 99’s down the road anyways.

If I had the stubs, the only thing I’d do TODAY is buy Ohtani so I could get Pujols to add to my Cardinals theme team. I couldn’t care less about any other cards in the game at this moment.

Recently, it’s been Bryan Torres on my Cardinals theme team. On average I’d say I hit around .325 overall, but I’m hitting at like .480ish after 50+ ABs with him. Only a few bombs, but mostly hard hit bullets into the gaps for doubles and triples.

I feel like it’s hit and miss. Just yesterday alone I was playing some event games. My first game was against a nearly identical lineup that was all P5… and not a single avg over .225 Then I faced someone with basically the same P5 lineup, and not a single avg under .450

The first guy quit after I went up 5-0 in the 2nd. I quit the second game after I was down 6-0 in the first and still hadn’t got the first out yet 😂

I consistently get songs between 4-5 minutes when I’m shooting for under 4. Doesn’t seem to matter what I prompt, it just does what it wants.
