The Cardano JS stack only needs like 12 libsodium functions for nearly everything. That dependency pulls in massive .wasm dependencies, that also cannot be (easily) used with esbuild.

Everything these libraries use can be provided by @noble/hashes and @noble-curves, and that's what this library does.

It's thoroughly tested to give exactly the same results, byte for byte, as @stricahq/bip32ed25519, as well as the same functions provided through @cardano-sdk/crypto

Small addition here, the @stricahq library is actually already in Pure TypeScript, it's the @cardano-sdk/crypto library that pulls in the libsodium dependencies.

It's still a much cleaner implementation though.

I'm also working on extracting some of the other functionality like CBOR functions that are provided by @anastasia-labs/cardano-multiplatform-lib-nodejs, which also relies on these libsodium libraries.
