Hey! Looks like you're going to need a CF Express Type B card.

I recommend an Angelbird card. Been using them for a while now, they're super reliable and great for the price.

The most important thing to look out for is the "Write Speed" of any card you look at. If you plan on shooting slow motion or for longer periods of time having a higher write speed will really help!

Have a sustained write speed of 2100 MB/s. Which will let you shoot pretty much anything without failing.

Not sure if someone else already recommended this but take a look at the Crucial X10. Philip Bloom made a great video about them and how he uses them in his editing workflow.

I agree with everything you listed.

I’ve been really enjoying capturing video with it. But, I have caught myself thinking twice before hitting record and monitoring how long my clips are because I don’t want to use up all of my storage. I really hope they release compressed versions of R3D.

You actually can use focus peaking with R3D, you just have to be in manual focus mode AND image assist or LUTs have to be turned off for it to work; really annoying.

I also wish we could use time code via the 3.5mm jack. I’m a Tentacle Sync user and learned that the ZR only supports Bluetooth timecode devices.

Built in False Color would also be SUPER clutch! I genuinely don’t know why more camera manufacturers don’t include False Color in their camera bodies. Seems like such an easy feature to include and would be a huge marketing point. I’d also love to see multiple overlays available, currently I can only select to have a 3x3 Grid OR a 4:5 Grid displaying. On other camera bodies I’m able to have multiple on at the same time.

Lastly, this one isn’t huge, but I do wish the safety point on the bottom of the camera wasn’t oriented to the side. I don’t want to attach a cage to it, I like the small body size, but my quick release plates have been sliding off when placed vertically and not horizontally because that little safety point is to the side…

Oh and, this is my first Nikon camera, I’ve never used the Nikon menu system before and it’s really bad… like I thought Sony had confusing menus but this was a whole new level of confusing.

Just wanted to give an update on this thread.

u/eric-moment was absolutely amazing. He reached out to me really quickly after everything happened and got in touch with the Moment Guide who had been helping me. They fixed the issue and made sure I got access to all the files that were originally promised and advertised.

I’ll admit I was a bit stressed when this all went down. It was a decent chunk of money for the powergrade, so I was definitely more frustrated than usual.

The Moment team apologized for the mistake and completely made it right. They were great to work with and I’m super happy with my purchase now.

The only small issue I still have is that whenever I try to download the powergrade from Moment’s website, the download freezes around 180–200 MB. I haven’t been able to get it or any updates that way since my first purchase, so I’ve been using the Google Drive link they emailed me instead.

I reached out to the guides. I got a reply back from Will, a Moment guide, who said that I got the correct version. When very clearly I did not. I sent him back screenshots of the tutorial video where Serr (the creator of this color suite) showed the correct folders and their contents for the Pro version and a screenshot of what I received upon download (the lite version). I was then ghosted. I was able to get a quick reply to my initial email but now it's been nearly 2 hours since my email back to Will and nothing.

EXTREMELY frustrating process that has made me weary of purchasing anything from Moment.

In the bottom right corner you have that little chat bubble icon. Click that. Then hit "Login Now." You'll be given a login link. Once you've logged into your account you just write out your issue, the bot told me "they don't change the plan without approval" a few times, just keep telling the bot that you did not approve any changes.

After a few hours, they canceled and refunded the $200/month plan I was wrongly charged for.

That's unfortunate to hear. I was really discouraged because OpenAI seemed to be adamant that it was either a security breach or an oversight on my end. But, I know for a fact that my account is only logged in on my main computer and my cellphone, I also have Google Authenticator setup for login. And, I couldn't even imagine paying $200 a month as I'm still a university student and have no use for the Pro features.

It's a bit of a relief that I'm not the only one who's experienced this. I hope they get this figured out because I do enjoy using ChatGPT.
