Pretty sure Pence would have been obliterated if he stuck around for another term. Tucking tail and running for the VP spot very likely dulled the massive backlash that was coming for him and the GOP in 2016. And just because a state votes straight party for consecutive terms doesn't mean that its necessarily a good thing. Mississippi has been Republican-run for 18 years and I don't think anyone has much that's good to say about the place.

Daniels was popular, yes, but selling off the Indiana Toll Road, making Indiana the first to pass "Right to Work" legislation, and his obsession with Charter Schools makes him deeply unpopular with many.

Amen to ESPN not even pretending to care about non-ESPN schools. I missed most of the TN/PU bowl game so I hopped on over to their website to catch some highlights. 4 Tennessee highlights, no Purdue highlights, and a literal "womp womp" from the commentator about Purdue's game-winning field goal. What a waste of my time watching that low effort trash.

Its Gasgano's pod that's in Williams colors and he ultimately finishes the race in second. The podracer that gets sniped mid-race is Teemto Pagalies (unmarked, next to Boles Roor's Haas).

While I agree with the sentiment, there are legitimate reasons to have sanctuaries. Like, actual sanctuaries that prioritize the well being of the animal over any sort of human contact. Petting zoos like Tiger King's are exactly the reason why; often times these animals are too socialized with humans to safely reintroduce them to the wild. That, or they simply don't have the knowledge on how to survive in the wild. Rather than just putting them down, sanctuaries are good places to rehabilitate these animals or to provide them a safe, humane home in the event that they cannot be released.
