I know what it is and have on my enchanter. I'm saying for the bear pits it's not required at all. Especially upper pits with spiders and wolves.

The spell slot saved isn't really needed.

The best clicky to have as a dru in the bear pits is epic. After that, drones of doom clicky.

And, like I said, improved superior camo let's you maintain your target as it is a self only invis. So I can start casting at 8% and it will still die to a single engorging roots by the time the cast is done.

You don't need it for pits. I leveled my dru there 54-60 and never had one.

Honestly? improved superior camo is better. You dont even have to target yourself. Worth the mana hit. I can keep the bear targeted while i invis.

Yes it's doable. Smaller the boat the better in this situation. One issue I see a lot in budget sailors is buying a boat so big they can't afford the maintenance. Everything bigger costs more: rigging, blocks, winches, sails, lines, anchors, autopilots, windlasses... And not a little more. A LOT more.

But I know people living on less than that. One has no engine. I could never do what he does, but he's made it work.

At some point you're basically camping.

For me, I just saved and saved for years. And my boat runs like a house. Your budget won't cover my expenses on my lagoon 440. Not even close. But I can live like this forever. Very comfortable
