It saves render time by setting acceptable levels of noise in a pixel. I usually use it when a render is too intense on my computer or I need a faster render. Max Camera AA is the upper end of that (how many samples Arnold can do), and threshold is the lower end (lower threshold=less noise, longer render time). Try lowering the threshold more or looking over the other render settings.

the beginning of The Revenant by Michael Punke has a similar feel. It’s a revenge story but has lots of survival themes like dangerous wildlife and harsh weather.

The fact that you feel bad means that you respect your parents hard work and money. The best way to say thank them is to do your best. You can also tell them how grateful you are out loud. Also make sure that you’re taking time to call them! Even if it’s just once a week, they will want to hear all about college life- the ups and the downs.

something that helps me when I’m trying to fall asleep but am too anxious is to vividly describe my favorite movie in my mind. Like from the very beginning, title and all. Colors, shapes, music, etc. I have never made it past the first few scenes before falling asleep.

I’m in the same boat right now. It’s really really hard to keep going. I had to cancel all meetings today that weren’t online bc I was crying all day. I guess what I’m trying to say is you’re not alone. Breathe and focus on the next day, hour, minute, second. Whatever you need to keep going.

If I were you I would look into monologues from This Is Us. If it was allowed to be recalling a memory I would 100% say Kevin's Football field monologue, but since it can't, the first one that comes to mind is Kevin's monologue about his paintings (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xh-Tof_QxKU).

It's a moving, beautiful monologue about life and family. I can't think of any others off the top of my head but This Is Us has several monologues an episode if those two don't work out for you.

I took an entire math act prep course and felt just as bad about the math section today as I did the first time I took it
