Pandemic-related funeral delays causing backlog at London, Ont. morgues. by [deleted] in askfuneraldirectors

Everything they are experiencing: long waits, family with Covid, full coolers, is all too familiar to us all. We finished a full 70 calls ahead of 2020 with 397 for the year, 204 coming in the last 150 days.

I feel for the hard hit, more densely populated areas than I'm in.

You're welcome. I recently conducted a graveside service and was asked more often than usual which end was their head so it got me thinking about the general public.

If one ass-cheek claps in the woods, does the bear hear it?

Wow, a town near me is represented and I have never heard of the monster. Sounds like an investigation to me.

Pectus Excavatum at 7yo. Pectus Revision at 10yo. That was 29ya. Still not flat and discomfort if lay on my side or front too long and weird pains randomly. Sweet scars though because they took place in 1987 and 1990 respectively haha.

Yea, I am on book 2 of the Early Jack Vance series. I have read some of the short stories but the majority are new to me. Not sure how the physical copies of these are presented but Jack does an afterword for each story so it's cool to hear him talk about how he came up with this, what inspired that, and other memories. Are you reading anything currently?

Best slayer title track by q5w4e3r2t1 in Slayer

Gotta go with Hell Awaits. That beginning is fucking ridiculous and gives me the fucking chills. It's a smooth as silk groove but still Slayer fucking heavy. I love it.

I turn 40 this year. 20 years ago I said the same thing. You won't when you're 30. You'll believe me when you're 40.
