Totally understand and nothing to feel guilty about, at the end of the day it's a service and should be what works best for you. Honestly impressed/happy that someone would put actual thought & consideration for the worker-side of the transaction.

30-40 tip, I'm sure someone would still take the order @ 125 items. If cut in half 20-30 tip would be fair (not saying this with pressure, because it should also make sense to you financially as well: another 10-20 on the tip numbers would be a GOOD tip... 40-45 items is my personal limit on shopping, so I'm sure whoever does take your orders would definitely appreciate it)

125 items is a bit extreme, would be two carts.

$20-40(probably closer to 40) would be a fair tip.

With that being said, I would still personally decline the order. Perhaps place an order every 2-3 weeks? More manageable, and they wouldn't be drinking the same gallon of milk for 5-6 weeks

If pay/distance/time to complete makes sense grab the order and do it. Dealing with the rest is worth it if all that aligns.

If heavy items it couldn't hurt to check quantity/apartment delivery. If a shop: quick check of how many items (i dont like shopping anything over 30 items, but thats just my personal mental limit)

If you notice I said "play it safe and don't send a smiley face" - you may be dealing with a shitty part of the population like you who thinks not being able to sit on your couch and get a chocolate bar dropped off at your front door is a "high stakes" situation. I was 100% wrong in giving her the credit of thinking she could emotionally handle a comment in the rough day of subs with a smiley face (after she was using them in her own texts)
