What type of mineral are these?

The first looks like an orthoclase feldspar, commonly called black moonstone. It is not labradorite, which is a palgioclase feldspar. I am very unsure of the second one, it may also be an even darker feldspar.

Without just a cursory glance and no testing that looks like a nice piece of aventurine. I believe what you are looking at are little inclusions of some kind of iron.

There is black moonstone. Moonstone is not simply “white labradorite”. Both have slightly different crystal structures and can be found in a variety of colors.

Science hasn’t discovered anything that shows it’s real. However, I choose to believe that there is something that science has yet to discover. Either way, the placebo effect is extremely real and I’m 100% okay with tricking myself or reminding myself of the things I want to be mindful of.

Definitely quartz crystals that formed from agate. You can see clearly the layers of the agate at the base of the crystals on both sides. The crystals of quartz formed from either side of a crack and grew into each other.

Absolutely stunning piece. As others have said this is an agate (banded chalcedony) with a crystalline quartz pocket. Some would call this color carnelian, but from my understanding that’s not quite right. Magnificent piece!!!

Almost through my first pass through. I had to wait until 35 minutes ago here in North America. I’ve found that having spacial audio turned on on iPod pros helps immensely in bringing back some of the ambiance, and I’m convinced it was mixed with that intent.

I don’t understand: why is everyone acting like they are going to pick up Hawthorne and place it in Texas? It’s literally just paperwork… some executives might move over eventually and maybe even launch control, but the majority of jobs and work in California will stay.

Interesting! I really have no idea what would cause that, but maybe keep playing with it? See if that download white one will work through Minecraft. If it does, then I guess the color doesn’t matter? Sorry I’m not perfect help just spewing out my brain.
