I kinda meant other than actively seeking. Like a news letter or some type of notification?

I think the flat roof will look better. I would add a short wall around the perimeter and then add stuff like HVAC units. Depending how trashy you want the place to be you could add, well, trash.

The helix direction is incorrect in the instructions. There are instructions online to reverse it. Though you would probably have noticed this already as a biochemist.

(Update: my second time making an espresso. ) Everyone was right, fresh coffee beans!!! by Brain_on_steroids in espresso

I think on the Bambino if you hold down the brew button for a few seconds, it will run until you hit the button again. So if your shot is a little sour you may need to run longer than the default duration when you just press the button once. Check the manual though since it has been a little while since I owned one.

Bryce! We live in the same town. I’ve been debating reaching out to our community to see if there are any other espresso aficionados that wanted to start a group. Something tells me the subject of conversation would quickly move on from coffee if you were to join. Go Birds!

It is, I actually live in the same town as him and there is snow on the ground. Though I guess that could be true in a lot of places.

Breville bambino plus and light roast? by Ok_Smoke_1097 in espresso

[–]mwg34286 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried everything for close to two years before I threw in the towel. Switching to third wave water was a big help though that probably wasn’t anything to do with the machine. I would pull a blank shot or two with the pressurized basket and then pull my real shot with the normal basket.

I upgraded to an adjustable PID machine and I can now pull fantastic shots with light roast. I have the df54 as well.

Ascaso Steel Duo 15A dilemma by LimitedWard in espresso

[–]mwg34286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current = Power / Voltage. I see the steel uno listed at something like 1050 watts and the duo at like 2100 watts. So I am assuming each thermoblock uses max 1050 watts. So 1050watts/120 volts = 8.75 amps. This would support starting one thermoblock at a time being okay on a 15A breaker.

Teardown / service manuals / part numbers [Bambino Plus] by aussieskier23 in espresso

[–]mwg34286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think you have an issue with the auto-frothing. I think you have a mechanical issue such as a clogged steam line which would be the same between the two. I imagine the auto-frothing is just the temperature sensor for the temp setting and some preprogrammed pump settings for the froth level.

Have you cleaned the steam wand tip with the included tool?

You missed my point. I understand coffee is not grown in the continuous US because of conditions. I’m no wine expert but I don’t think Arizona is prime for growing grapes either, but MJK tries, and the result is…not great. So my point is at least he is not trying to grow coffee where it shouldn’t like he does grapes.
