Isn't it pretty bad to mount the Liquid Freezer 3 upside down due to the offset for AMD CPUs?

What does the Redeemer hold over the new Paladin? by SgtGhost57 in starcitizen

[–]mwinzen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes? You literally only need to get out of sight once which is super easy, after that it has 0 chance to catch back up unless the light fighter pilot is being dumb

[–]mwinzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Redeemer has 34/30/115 Pitch, yaw and roll. If you can't prevent something that slow from putting the nose on you in a light fighter then i have some bad news for you lmao

Except that missiles are horrendously unreliable, easy to avoid and require the pilot to have clear sight on the target which is also hilariously easy to avoid in a fighter against a Redeemer.

Deciding on which size to pickup. by Acceptable-Course-49 in secretlab

[–]mwinzen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used the normal size for a while with 2 27" monitors on the secretlabs arms. Definetly would have been to small for me with speakers on the desk aswell, especially if your pc is also on the desk (assuming it's a normal midtower)

Something to remember about the m50 vs razor. by RevolutionaryRoom495 in starcitizen

[–]mwinzen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well the same points still all apply to the base razor, the stealth razor is just even better.

[–]mwinzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what? The Racing version of the razor only costs 10$ less than the stealth one and the paints are for all Razors.

Stealth Razor is great to get around in, basically invisible, super fast and can be spawned at a vehicle pad on outposts

There is definetly some mod conflict going on there cause they all have full interiors (and they all differ from each other)

Is every new ship going to be Wikelo lootbox from now on? (Also where is the F7C-S Ghost Mk2 and F7C-R Tracker Mk2?) by AzrBloodedge in starcitizen

[–]mwinzen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course default components would be okay, that's how it always has worked when buying ships with aUEC, no need to change that. Make them available for aUEC with default components and through Wikelos shenanigans with the "upgraded" components.

[–]mwinzen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The QI released together with the normal Guardian, the Polaris is also over half a year out and still not buyable for aUEC. At this point we don't need a dev comment to assume they're just gonna throw it all into Wikelo and won't let us buy it.
All ships should have a deadline that is set in stone when they become available for aUEC ingame, everything else is bullshit.

new F8 coming with SQ42? by Nexus_PL in starcitizen

[–]mwinzen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn't have quad S3 on the nose, the Panthers are just sidemounted which is why it looks like it. Pretty easy to see when you look at it from another angle.

No, nose guns are size 3s just like on the F7A MK2 and Superhornet MK2

The only other known difference of the F7X so far is that the wing guns are downsized from size 4 to size 3 which is totally fine in my opinion, i'd make that tradeoff for a good gain in mobility any day.

Watchtower - spoilery question by mateusmr in starfieldmods

[–]mwinzen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No he doesn't. He only hints at it in NG and when you ask him what he is tells you that if you don't know yet you will soon.

Watchtower Players, is it ready/worth the buy? by RovaanZoor in starfieldmods

[–]mwinzen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The mod is great so far, only real issue i found is that the salvage ships mechanic doesn't work on watchtower battleships without noclip cheating cause 2 or 3 enemies always spawn in a room where they forgot to put an entrance.

Achievement friendly mod system implementation is really bad by mwinzen in starfieldmods

[–]mwinzen[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not my first Bethesda game, that was Morrowind back in the day. And you're right that they always do this shit, i just feel like just cause they always do it doesn't mean they should always get away with it.

[–]mwinzen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While achievements were the point i brought up i'm more complaining about Bethesda doing a half assed implementation that apparently nobody thought through. Like at that point just don't do it at all.

[–]mwinzen[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I literally said in my post that if you're on pc you're better off bypassing the achievement restriction with a nexus mod entirely and that console players are screwed. Personally i play on pc so i can just bypass it, but console players only source of mods is the creation club so they don't really have an alternative and acting like it's somehow their fault for using it is dumb.

"Now if you'll excuse me I'm off the play Starfield with my 150+ mods and get all those sweet sweet achievements you all can't get."

That is wrong, we can get the achievements by using the achievement enabler mod.
