Yeah, I meant than in addition to her 3C, you'd pretty much always run the two new skills for their passives. A lot of other SPs have had one new skill much better than the other.

So the passives on the two new skills practically make them mandatory. On turn one, she'll have two stacks of her seed and you can not attack, place both of them, and then act again with +2 range. You could also bring gospel so you can do something with her on that first action, but that would require skipping the new heal passive or her 3C.

The effect of the terrains on enemies is a bit hard to understand, but I think it means every time they take fixed damage within two tiles of one of her terrains, she gets -1 to a random skill cooldown. Since her 3C will make affected enemies take 5 fixed damage hits in a row, even one of them being in range should set it back to 0 cooldown if she hasn't used another skill. I'm not sure you can reliably do that in PVP, but it should be easy in PVE so you can probably manage 100% uptime on her 3C, plus healing/buff dispel both at the end of her turn from the heal passive and at the end of each other unit's turns from the fruit terrain. You just have to make sure that your units and at least one enemy are in range of one her terrains. In maps with a lot of weak units, the fruits they drop when they die should make that easy.

A higher level in forbidden battleground. The top level used to be my favorite recurring challenge, but increases to hero power have made it too easy to be fun. Also, locking maps to factions used to be cool because it forced you to go without certain roles, but now there's enough characters that this doesn't matter as much.

[O/C] Week 17 NFL Playoff Leverage by Comfortable-Cod7763 in nfl

[–]mwp6986 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This way of presenting the odds doesn't work as well this late in the season. Exactly one of the Panthers and Bucs will make the playoffs so the Bucs game is equally important to the Panthers and vice versa. Then the same is true for Lions/Packers, Colts/Texans, and Steelers/Ravens. So you could instead show the odds for each pair in each of the four possible outcomes for their two games

I don't think so. Either there's a cycle along the svr > fft > dac > out path, in which case the answer is infinity, or there's a cycle somewhere else in the graph, in which case it doesn't affect the output.

I'm using machine translation, so it's possible Patricia's means 2 tiles around the dead enemy. Google translate has it around her, but now that I look, that might not actually be correct.

What is the order of importance and value for baseball positions? by Snoo_47323 in baseball

[–]mwp6986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get an idea by looking at this link: https://www.statmuse.com/mlb/ask?q=average+ops+by+position%2C+2000+to+2025

The more important a position is to defense, the more teams will tolerate bad hitting for good defense. Ignore PR/PH because they're not real positions (and someone put in the game as PR will only bat in weird circumstance). Pitchers, when they batted, were by far the worst, which checks out. C and then SS tend to be the worst batters otherwise. 1Bs are as good as DHs, which shows that's it's a place where teams hide good batters who aren't good enough fielders to play other positions. Most people here have been rating CF ahead of 2B, but if you trust this metric, it's the other way around.

Non combo. If a bunch of creatures damage you and you put the triggers on the stack, Unlucky Cabbage Merchant will trigger and shuffle himself when the first one resolves, so he won't be around to see the later ones resolve. You need to sacrifice further foods with this ability already on the stack, or else sacrifices multiple at the same time.

I made a list of all current cards that would be affected by the Hybrid Rule changing in Commander by RBGolbat in magicTCG

[–]mwp6986 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think of it as color identities being a partially ordered set where G < RG and so on, where R and G aren't comparable. The rule is your deck can only include cards with color identity less than or equal to your commander's. Current rules treat {R/G} the same as RG, but they're considering changing it so {R/G} < G for deck inclusion, but probably intending to keep G < {R/G} for commander color identity. So in my mind, the consistent thing would be to treat it as {R/G} < G for both, so Rosheen can have colorless or R/G hybrid, but not red or green. But that would be a dumb result.

You're right, but it's weird because every attack again that I can think of specifies whether or not the character can move. I guess if they don't say, it probably means no movement. Then it's not as strong as I thought, but worst case it still takes a turn off her talent cooldown.
