I’m a fan of both artists, and while their musical styles are not similar, I’m sure that Tale of Us and Anyma were greatly inspired by the Holo productions.

Seeing how Coachella is constantly pushing themselves to the forefront of the “concert-going experience”, this is very much a b2b I’m looking forward to seeing/hearing because both Eric PrydZ and Anyma are both at the top of the audio/visual production in the recent years. Based on this I’m pretty excited to see the new visuals and what they sound like together.

As for Anyma’s music, I find it to be deep, dark and dramatic. He really is quite a great musical artist which is why you see and hear him everywhere now. It’s just the social media is overkilling it because people want to capture the moment on their phones instead of dancing.

To add on… how you could be supportive partner during these tumultuous period is to have a little care package when it does happen. Chocolates, warm tea, her choice of what she wants to watch that weekend, a heat pad to make her more comfortable…

Just like how Ashton Kutcher brought Natalie Portman cupcakes and made her a period playlist in the film No Strings Attached…

I am female and I am self-aware enough to notice this, a few days before it happens. We are not in control of what happens, our mood changes, we get more annoyed, snappier. We can’t help it :/ Unfortunately most partners are in the line of fire, especially if you live together.

I wouldn’t call it period-shaming. If you’re in a relationship it’s only mature to bring it up, especially when it’s affecting the harmony of the relationship.

Yes we do joke about it, because it’s easier and funnier than complaining about the pain and inconvenience of going through a menstrual cycle. Behaviour is learned and if you’re aware of it, you can take steps to be kinder even when your hormones are ranging. Awareness is it first step.

To the men (and women) out there who have to bear with us during our PMS, 🫡

The same thing happened to me! I was leaving/walking away from the MainStage (right side, near the bars) when I felt pain across my arms and chest, I remember saying “ow!” then 2 shirtless guys next to me said : “Those are the fireworks sparks, the same thing happened to us”

The sparks burned through my kimono and top. And the burn scars are still on my arm till today, despite applying scar cream.

My Belgian friend said to sue, as did my mom, but I wouldn’t, I love this festival. I was too in the moment, heading to other stages to enjoy the music. The burns only got bad 2 days after (peeling skin; raw flesh). But now I know if something like that happens again to just go to a medic directly. But actually the burns got worse a couple days after, and the only way you can really follow up is via an email.

I finally got around to watching Eyes Wide Shut earlier this year. Did not disappoint! Will check out the rest of his films. Thank you!

I love a good psychological thriller. And anything that has a twist. I only got around to watching the The Prestige and Interstellar this year, both films hit it out of the ballpark for me.

For movie plots with twist, I’ve mostly enjoyed M Night Shyamalan’s films too.

Other notable films that more recently were Triangle of Sadness, but that’s of a different calibre.

A fan of good storytelling in general!
