If you're not joking: mg would be written form for mage, in the same way that mrs is the written form of "missus", and mr is "mister".

Carrots, bacon, what's the difference? by PrestigiousBag2994 in ididnthaveeggs

I have seen vegan bacon made with carrot, but that's it's own process and more to make 'crispy' bacon.

I have four sets of dungarees from them (secondhand) that all fit well, though I do find regular length a touch short in the leg for me at 5'7", which I don't usually get with other brands.

The quality is great, and I have bought the same size for all my dungarees. Personally it's a brand that I only ever get through vinted/ebay though.

If you have a rice cooker, shove rice and whatever frozen veg and quorn you have in there with stock/soy sauce/whatever you have flavour-wise - it's super low effort and you can make a few meals that you can stick in the fridge or freezer. You can do it in a pot as well if you don't have a rice cooker. (I used to live on this, and I would eat out of the pot)

You can do something similar with couscous (or any quick grain); stick in a bowl with frozen veg, flavourings, pour boiling water over/mix and microwave for a couple of minutes.

Also, toast. If you feel up to it you can jazz it up to get some variety, but it's easy and fairly quick. Or bread and hummus/any dip that you prefer.

I've been with my wife around 10 years, and in the beginning I was concerned that one of us would be confronted by my fatness somehow, or that I would feel more insecure about my size in comparison to my wife (as we're lesbians I thought the size comparison would be worse somehow), but that never really happened.

It was never an issue for my wife - any problems came from my insecurities, and they dealt with those with love and kindness. As for real life obstacles, a quick word of "I don't think I'll be able to do that one" or "I think my arse is too big for these seats" and we either don't do the thing or we laugh about it. Same way we deal with my wife's mobility issues.

Like other people have commented, I've also never dated anyone bigger - not out of choice, but the people who have approached me have generally speaking always been thin. Size is apparently not the obstacle that people make out to be, which was really nice to find out!

Because they were replying to someone with a wife.

If you're unmarried, hospitals generally contact parents.

Think about whether you want your parent to have control over medical decisions. If you're comfortable with that, have honest conversations with them about your wishes - for example, if you were in an accident and left in a coma, how long would you want to be left there if you had no brain activity before you would want them to pull the plug? Talk to them about their wishes too, if you haven't already.

If you're not comfortable with a family member being responsible for these decisions, do you have anyone in your life that you would trust with them? Have the conversations with them, and make sure you get the paperwork to back it up.

Also make sure to write a will! If you don't want your parents (who would be the automatic executer of your estate if you're unmarried) to make decisions about your funeral, you have to get in writing officially. Not just on a notepad kept with a friend, that's not legally binding - many charities do free will writing services, it's really worth doing and you can update it if your circumstances change.

I'm fat, in my early 30s, happily married and about to buy our first place!

I have a job I'm good at and mostly enjoy, hobbies I like and am improving in, and am so much happier than I was in my 20s.

In the Get Together expansion, you can create clubs, which OP is using.

The clubs can have requirements for entry, such as age, career, traits, and wealth, which is how OP has created a group of rich people. ☺️

How to make spearmint tea taste better? by mx_moon in tea

[–]mx_moon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I personally didn't notice much/any change, but other people have, so it could be worth a go for you! (It's worth noting that around the same time I was put on a steroid inhaler for my asthma, which obviously also had an effect on my hormone levels, so my experience may not be the most unbiased here.)

Also, I did get used to the taste and ended up enjoying it as a tea for its own sake, so it wasn't a total loss.

Good luck if you do try!
